I really wanted to write you off on account of the block of italics at the beginning of your first page.  The "You might like this if" part has intrigued me enough to see what you're all about.  I am tempted to ask to join just to compare notes on the iron age.

This looks interesting.  I would like to know more.  At the very least, I am excited for the prospect of talking with a fellow amateur historian.
