Penelope frowned a little as Crow also mentioned that Preston was bugging him as well. The knight had worried that the attendant might have picked up a bit on their closeness and hearing that he had didn't ease that. She'd just have to try and act a bit more carefully when he was around and hope that he wasn't one to go gossiping. He may just be a servant but that didn't mean he couldn't spread the word through the castle if anyone were to question him. As he went on to say that Udolf had begun teaching him how to write, the knight's smile returned. "Of course. That's what I'm here for." she said as looked to her with a grin. She leaned down to press a kiss to his temple before moving to pull up another chair next to him. "I'm honestly impressed by how fast you must be learning all of this. It's barely over a week since you've even been here." Of course, she hadn't really seen his progress first hand but if he was already moving onto writing, she assumed that he was learning at a rather fast rate. Sitting down besides him, she grabbed her own supplies from what was on the table, including the spare quill. She shifted the ink to sit between them and adjusted the paper in front of her. "Just keep in mind that whatever you tell them, you'll also probably be telling Olivia. Knowing her, she'll likely read it before she gives it to Alistair." she reminded him with a smirk. Penelope rested her arm against the table and glanced down at his paper. "Just tell me if you get stuck on anything."
