The White Whale[/b][/u]

[center][b][u]Appearance[/u][/b][/center] 
Barnacles and gangrenous seaweed dot his ghostly pale flesh, harpoons stick out lodged across his enormous hide, nets and lines trailing behind him, all speak of failed hunts from modern trawlers to ancient mariners. And upon his brow amidst scars and wrinkles are embedded symbols of what seem like a strange hieroglyphics.

Mocha's's eyes are small but burn out red with a fury, stark against his pallid colossal cranium. He is a hunched creature, longer by far than tall, his great tail dragging behind him as his blubbery form lumbers forward.  

In essence, a grisly looking, bipedal sperm-whale.

[i]300ft[/i] high and [i]500ft[/i] long with the tail. (See image above for a rough scale).[/center]

[center][b][u]First Appearance:[/u][/b][/center] 
Mocha Dick was known to Terra but his whereabouts were not, presumably deep below the sea until recently. He has since emerged in the South-Pacific and is en-route to Yokohama.

[center][b][u]Abilities:[/u][/b][/center] 
[i]Sonar Shriek[/i]
Mocha Dick like many real life whales is as reliant on hearing as he is sight and can give a whale song loud enough to dwarf any other naturally occurring sound. He can also condense this into a focused beam able to rip apart buildings.

[i]Geyser Spray[/i]
Mocha Dick holds a huge mass of water within him which can be jetted out with tremendous force from any of several blowholes across his body. He can also release is as a vapour to hide himself or simply vomit it from his mouth to flood an area.

[center][b][u]Weaknesses:[/u][/b][/center] 
Mocha Dick is prone to dehydration if out of the water for too long which would cause him to pass out and eventually die. This can happen ever faster if he uses his Geyser Spray. It is also possible to confuse him with with the use of sonar technology.

[center][b][u]Personality:[/u][/b][/center]
Maybe it's because he's far older than he should be or due to the pain of his ancient injuries, perhaps it is his just his nature; but Mocha Dick is angry. He attacks, not merely out of self-preservation but his intense thrashing assaults display an underlying rage. It's been noted in the past how he'll appear to retreat only then to double back for intense attack with certain malice, toying with ships before destroying them. The rage of the White-Whale though is matched only with his cunning. 

[center][b][u]History:[/u][/b] [/center]
Sailors in many cultures throughout history have made mention to a monstrous white whale of the depths. Norse sagas knew him as 'Lyngbakr', Spanish explorers spoke of 'The Devil Whale' he gained his most recent name from American whalers in the 19th century after destroying numerous parties around the isle of Mocha off the coast of Chile. 

Mocha Dick has been mistaken for a regular whale by many hapless hunters across the centuries. Whether angered due to being attacked or in the defence of his kin is not known but he has subsequently wrecked havoc upon whalers and their civilisations. There are some who believe the ban on Japanese whaling was not out of preservation for the whales.

Of his origin, or the strange glyphs imbedded upon his brow little is known. But the sight of Mocha Dick has been known to drive some men into obsession.
