I didn't have any particular characters in mind when I picked his name way back when. I just wanted it to be similar to his alias, because psychologically, people in witness protection and people who create fraudulent identities tend to subconsciously choose a name that's similar to their own, because it's so closely linked to their identity (hence why both his names share a first consonant).

I sort of picked Collin on a whim and then as I wrote his character for a long time, decided it fit him really well, so I kept it lol
