Still here but struggling to feel it. 
Where’s this bird? What’s it look like? Are we supposed to know anything about it? How big are the woods?

Also that’s a pretty intense power. That bird, immune to weapons, could single handedly wipe out an entire non magical army. Or at least slowly peck out everyone’s eyes.

I’ll get a post up soon with my character’s confusion. 
Without a push or some direction this scene could take a little while.
