Peter whizzed right into the hat of the crooked bird man. Silently Peter thanked Sofia for all of her effort; without her Peter would just be stuck on that roof with no way to help. Seeing those birds swarm her body did make him panic, but he couldn't let this chance go to waste. Her sacrifice won't be in vain! The bird man stepped on him and for a moment Peter didn't move. He was just a rock after all. But as soon as he took his foot off and got a closer look he sprung into action! In a blink Peter transformed back into his normal form, reaching to grab the birdman's beak mask. Grasping the mask with his full strength, Peter would try and rip it off as his other hand reached into his pocket and took out his emergency cellphone; he was waiting for this moment! With just a single press of a button an ear piercing screech emanated from his phone, deafening Peter and likely this birdman and his feathered fiends. It would also alert pretty much everyone in the area where Peter was at, and more importantly the school itself would be notified of an emergency and his location. He really should've done this sooner, but better late than never. "YOU DAMN CHICKEN!" Peter then took his emergency phone to smash his face, ideally without his mask, or just around the head if the mask was on tight. He would jerk and pull the mask so this guy couldn't get a clear line of sight on Peter too, trying to take every advantage he can get in order to come out on top. More importantly, keep everyone else alive. This was basic video game logic; threaten the boss to draw aggro. No doubt that a villain would try to use Sofia as a hostage, but that would only work if Peter thought he couldn't save her from his birds. As long as he threaten this guy, he could save her from the birds by beating his face in!
