His forearms are lined with skives that can inject his corrosive bodily fluid into whatever or whomever they pierce. His blood and saliva give off the appearance of an irradiated glow, an trait that helps him sea in the deepest of waters. Size: 79 meters tall, 165 meters long First Appearance: The Sea of Japan - His moving silhouette was spotted near the water's surface by deep sea fisherman who were out having some drinks and expecting a relaxing day. When they returned to shore and notified authorities, they were promptly escorted to the drunk tank to sober up. Abilities: Well Armored - A passive attribute of Kappakami is his armored exterior. His thick scales atop his leathery skin combined with his back shell make for some serious protection against physical attacks. Acidic - Much of King Kap's biology has acidic and even corrosive attributes. As a result, contact with his blood and saliva will immediately cause some damage to the person or creature involved. Kap can also project his saliva in a spit stream as a ranged offensive measure. Amphibious - The Vile Reptile can breath on the surface and in water. His speed and mobility is also greatly enhanced when he is underwater, making him an even greater threat while he is submerged. His ears can detect even the slightest vibrations in the water making him an excellent aquatic hunter and nearly impossible to sneak up on within the sea. Kappa - The Kappa are human sized, less bulky versions of Kappakami with a history in Japanese folklore. These creatures can be spawned asexually from King Kap and have innate instincts to feed and protect their master. They have divots on their heads which hold water. If these divots go dry or are emptied, the Kappa is severely weakened and will not regain their strength until the water is refilled. Kappas' biology also comes with the acidic bodily fluids as well as the ability to project their corrosive saliva. Weaknesses: Slow Moving - While Kappakami is no sloth, he's not the most agile Kaiju. He's more like a tank and less like a Ferrari. Kaiju that have more maneuverability may have an edge against him. His landspeed can be impressive in short bursts, but he can not maintain that speed for very long, and his velocity is punished further if he has to turn directions. Constant Hunger - The corrosive makeup of his biology means that food in his system is broken down much faster than one would expect, causing him to need to feast quite frequently or suffer fatigue. Poor eyesight - Though his peripheral visions is wide spanning, his eyesight is fairly poor due to a nictitating membrane around them that enables him to see underwater. He also has a blindspot directly behind him that is easy to exploit. Personality: Kappakami is highly aggressive when he is on a task of survival, whether that's hunting for food or fighting an enemy. If his hunger is sated, he becomes very passive and is perfectly content with savoring his rest until the next urge to feed. Kappakami also has a sense of loyalty towards creatures or beings that have helped it in some way or another. It harbors an obligation to return any favor that's been granted to him. History: While the River God has not been seen for thousands of years, his Kappa underlings have been spotted more than once on land over the past few centuries. The Japanese have stories about sightings of the Kappa that were eventually branded as tall tales until the sightings began to occur again. Now, more than ever, the Kappa have been seen emerging from the sea to gather food to bring to their master, which means only one thing... King Kap is awake and he's coming. Kappakami sees Humans as insignificant animals. He doesn't hunt them, but isn't opposed to feeding on them. He would prefer bigger game, though. Other: The Kappa and King Kap in particular have an intense love for pickles and cucumbers Theme: Dethklok - Bloodlines https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KdZd-FwYWVw

Raiden Shimizu
Appearance: Raiden's hair is dark, long and very unkempt. He does not often care about style or what he is wearing. He dresses casually and practically preferring jeans and long sleeve shirts. Age: 29 Years Old Occupation: Street Hustler Starting Location: Hakata-ku, Fukuoka, Japan History: Raiden loved his parents very much. His father was Japanese military engineer and his mother was a veterinarian. His father's expertise was the invention and enhancements of military grade weapons. While he made a living advancing the technology of warfare, his wife lived only to heal those that were hurt. When his father was figuratively off the clock, he would eat dinner with his family and then retire into his basement to work on technological projects of his own design. A lifelong passion of his was the development of a battle enhancement suit, or Mech. When Raiden asked his father why he spends all of his off hours developing this suit, he decided it was time to tell his son what truly motivated him. The men of the Shimizu clan have long told the tales of the Kappa, amphibious creatures of curious intent who loved to serve something greater than themselves: their god. Raiden's ancestors have dealt with, battled and even worked alongside the Kappa allegedly, but they would never master communication with them. The universal understanding was that whether they had to hurt you, bargain with you or steal from you, they would get whatever it is they sought and then would take it back into the sea for purposes that have never been revealed. As his father told him these stories, Raiden couldn't help but laugh and be entertained. His father didn't laugh, though. His face was as serious as a heart attack as he stared at his son, detesting the rejection of what he felt was the truth. His father's obsession began to go into overdrive as the years went on. More and more he would lock himself in the basement and do his experiments, spending less and less time with his family. Finally, Raiden's mother had enough of the neglect. She demanded a divorce, but his father would not hear of it. Raiden woke up one morning and noticed breakfast was not ready, which was fairly unusual in their household. He went into his parents bedroom and only saw his father. Frantically, he woke his dad up and demanded to know where his mother was. All that was left of her was a note. As his father read it, tears slowly ran down his cheeks. Raiden continued to ask where she was and the only response he got was, "She's gone." His father's work nearly became a full time job, but ever since she left, the patriarch made sure to keep his son at his side teaching him what he could of the theory and the trade. What he was working on, how the technology worked, why he was doing it. The study and apprenticeship became a daily regimen. While Raiden followed what he could, most of the research and terminology went over his head. As his father's obsession continued to take over his life, the military let him go and severed ties with him. Too many claims of monstrous enemies lore that the government needed to prepare for. He was branded a lunatic, incompetent. The Shimizu family went broke fast. When their last coin was spent, and the last dinner consumed, Raiden's father tucked his son into bed and, with teary eyes, assured him that he would need to be strong and remember what he was taught. He would need to be the new guardian against the menace that the world refused to acknowledge. And then... he apologized. The next morning he was woken up by the sirens of the local police. They immediately rushed in the house and seized the boy. They didn't want him to approach the gruesome scene in his home. He would later learn that he father had called them and announced that he would be dead by the time the police arrived. He left very deliberate instruction to make sure that he son never had to see it and that they would provide for him, protect him in a way they he couldn't himself. They obliged. With his father deceased and his mother nowhere to be found, the authorities had no choice but to admit Raiden into a government run orphanage. Filled with degenerates, ruffians, and the unwanted, Raiden was quick to learn some of their tricks and skills that were typically frowned upon by standup citizens. All the while, he wanted to go home, to live up to his fathers expectation, to continue the man's work. On his 18th birthday, Raiden was released to be his own man. With a small amount of cash and the few possession that he had acquired over the years, he made his way into the world. The first thing he did was go back to his childhood home in hopes that he could find his dad's research and the projects he left behind. When he got there, he was sorely disappointed to see his home is a state of dilapidation. The journals, the research, the Mech technology... All of it was gone. Lost in the world, Raiden did the only thing he good; he survived. Trickery, thievery, whatever it took, Raiden did what he must to live to see the next day and what little luxuries he could afford were usually composed of debaucherous activity. Homeless, hopeless and without motivation, Raiden can often be seen strolling the streets looking for a new mark to victimize or sitting in an alley, imbibing drugs or filling his stomach with liquor. However, word got out that there were reported sightings of monstrous humanoid creatures emerging from the sea. Most people reported this as if it were a novelty, a joke. Raiden reacted differently. The hairs on his neck stood on end as he considered a crazy notion... Perhaps his father was right all along. Other: Raiden is a great card player, a smoker (of more than just tobacco), a drinker, a gambler, a gifted thief, moderately proficient as being stealthy, quite clever and has far more potential than meets the eye. His father's imparted education has made him a bit of a technology whiz despite the fact that he hasn't employed that knowledge in years. He's also very good at adapting to different situations and is stupidly brave to a fault.
