Stealing and giving away abstractions? She couldn’t say she’d mind giving hers away but if it was deadly… she didn’t hate herself that much, yet. She’d like to stay alive. Going out into the blizzard sounded just as unpleasant. None of this sounded pleasant at all to her. She stayed silent and listened to the other talk, asking more questions of Britney. She couldn’t say that she understood all that was explained but it gave a better idea of what was happening. Typical, though, there being another threat on top of the Glutton. It wasn’t like he was a big enough one already. “I agree with the choice of group leaders,” Caelea spoke up as the conversation moved onto what they were actually doing. She didn’t know either well, but none of them trusted Britney right now. The two of them had been the most vocal. And while Penny was sometimes obnoxious it was clear they both cared. “Probably easiest if we just split ourselves between the two?” Rien seconded it, though quietly. If they had to choose they’d probably go with Justin – after all, back when things started he’d managed to keep them alive while they were absolutely hammered. If that didn’t make someone trustworthy they didn’t know what did. Tuyen was conflicted. On one hand she knew Justin much better than Penny. She also really needed to talk to him, after all that had happened, but a trip like this probably wouldn’t be the best time. On the other hand Rita was likely to go with Penny – at least she’d assume so. She’d like to stick with Rita if possible. For a start, she was the only one Tuyen had really talked to recently. Also she could cover for her if someone almost noticed her abstraction (she understood wanting to hide that). She honestly didn’t know. So she turned to Rita and quietly asked, “who do you think you’ll go with?”
