Age: 19. Gender: Male. Appearance: Noir stands at 5’10 with a lean muscular build and dark blue eyes. His weapon, Chimera, is often seen laid across his back via a mechanical harness allowing it to be reoriented so as to be drawn over his shoulder or from the small of his back on either side. At his belt are held several additional magazines containing both dust and ammunition for his weapon. Personality: Calm, cool, and collected. (Will be expanded on ICly) Weapon: Chimera.

Noir’s weapon is a swordspear at heart, but expands the capabilities of such significantly via numerous technological additions and alterations. Core among these is its hollow shaft, which travels all the way through the weapon and essentially functions as the chamber of the precision firearm integrated into the tool. In the guard and part of the surrounding enclosure at the base of the blade, Chimera holds compartments for both regular ammunition and dust as well as a hidden set of mechanisms that allow for shot to be fired in either direction down the barrel. From the blade-side tip of the barrel a partially rounded blade extends, closing off that end unless shot is to be released, thus retaining the swordspear’s ability to pierce with great effectiveness. Similarly, if dust is fired, rather than shot, the protrusion can remain closed, instead releasing the material through microscopic pores, proliferating upon the blade elemental effects rather than releasing a projectile. The last set of its mechanical properties lie within the shaft of the weapon, which can telescope--building up pressure in the mechanism--and then expand back to its original size with great speed and force, facilitating powerful thrusts with little setup or strength required from Noir. This telescoping mechanism plays into the last two functions in this set, which allow for the shaft to segment revealing a black carbon nanofiber tube within, essentially turning the weapon into a mid range chainsword. Of course, rather than segment, the nature of the individual sections allows them to shift several inches perpendicular to the arrangement of the shaft, creating hand or footholds for Noir to use as he sees fit. All-in-all, Chimera is an incredibly versatile combination of tools in one fairly compact package. Compact Length: 4.5 feet(2ft shaft). Swordspear Length: Approx’ 8.5 feet(6ft shaft). Full Extension Length: 16.5 feet(14ft shaft).
Item: Dust Cannisters. He carries Fire, Lightning, and Gravity variants.
Companion: Mezzanote. His pet bird, which is typically around the size of a raven, though with rather strange markings. Depicted in his appearance picture, though there it is under the influence of Noir's semblance. The bird is trained to respond to commands--both verbal and gesture based. Semblance: Transmogrify. A form of warped enhancement or transformation, Noir’s semblance allows him to initiate a transformation--via contact--on any material, or willing participant. This enhancement gives the target drastically improved attributes at the cost of stability and/or reliability. This often includes making things larger, more durable, sharper--serrated even--and generally more potent whereas dexterity in its various forms are often lost as things like accuracy or precision movement are lost. Similarly, his semblance can make simpler things more complex...sometimes to their own detriment. The effect of this semblance is cumulative, making affected objects or individuals more and more potent at greater and greater cost over time. History: Wouldn’t you like to know.
