☆ Pardon the mess. Welcome, wandering wonder of wordsmithing. I'm Semblance, and my aim is to produce particularly plush plots for you and me. ☆ I'm always like this. I don't aim to do romance, specifically; instead my crosshairs linger on the temple of character development and cooperative storytelling. ☆ Pardon the poison. Stories/plots I post will be original, as fandom RPs have always left me feeling like I lack in the lore department. They may be a little vague, or strange. That's to give us freedom and room to wiggle. ☆ It's always dripping down the wall. I play either gender and tend to juggle a lot of characters at once. I don't expect you to do the same; but I do appreciate when my partners go above and beyond. ☆Pardon the husk. Most RPs will be "High Casual", with an expectation of two or more paragraphs per post. Shouldn't be terribly hard to wring that out. Strict time constraints aren't really my thing, but let me know if you want to drop out of the thread or start something new. ☆ It doesn't remember how to stay still. Working together is a thing I like to do. Most ideas will have a baseline world and flavor. Some already have their mythos established. Making each idea unique and full of potential is a goal, when I start coming up with these. ☆ Pardon the neon madness. I hope we can find an alchemy in one another. I'm looking for a steady partner, or a few. ☆ It stains smile and soul alike. From here on are the plots and their flavor introductions.
They say the third floor isn't used because of the accident, five years ago. No one knew the truth, at the time; except, perhaps, whatever malign and magnificent maestro created and placed the Threshold in such an obvious place. Rumors have a way of gaining power as they circulate. Twisted beyond the bounds of reality, but believable enough to infest otherwise reasonable minds. Each whisper carries innumerable ripples. These ripples lap and gnaw on the Parallel Planes. Beyond the Threshold was a place where delusion and conviction ruled with ironclad intent. Plunged headfirst into the chaos of 'After-Nova' Ixmire, two unlikely heroes will forever change the ebb and flow of Fate in a realm still settling into an altered form. Imagination their weapon, delusion their armor. Voidspawn and Starborn are championed by the Last Firstborn Goddess to prevent the Core Nova. Summation: Our characters are a bit disconnected from reality, social outliers prone to feeding off of one another's energy during grandiose fantasies. The academy they attend has a sealed off third floor that attracts their curiosity. During their breaking-and-entering exploration, they stumble onto the Threshold: a gateway to Ixmire...a realm they created during their childhood. Ixmire is a large melting pot of ideas, concepts and genres. High Fantasy magic, Battle Mechs, Noir Psychics. The list goes on. Guilds and Enclaves battle for control of the land. A dying goddess chooses them to inherit the mantles they, themselves, had designed. Starborn and Voidspawn. Unlikely allies pitted against a world entirely unprepared for the reckoning at hand...

Guiding the Chosen isn't an easy job. Especially when they're too good to need your help. What happens when a Divine Doll cannot fulfill their proper purpose? Why, they find a way. As the remaining duo of what was once a trio of Dolls, we have moved beyond the boundaries of Divine Protocol and taken a more active hand in the events unfolding. Sure, the Chosen might be trying to save the world; but who says they can have the spotlight all to themselves? One problem, though. Breaking Divine Protocol makes you an Aberrant Doll. The Chosen may be directed to snuff you out. Other Dolls may interfere. Gods themselves may see fit to suspend you...without pay...or worse. How far will you go to guide the Chosen, when they deny a couple of oddball Dolls their very reason for existing? Summation: Dolls always come in sets of three, but we lost our third. She was their favorite. The closest to being "like them". She almost seemed human. The Chosen blame our characters for the death of the Doll they had accepted as a mentor; seeing the remaining pair to be unfit to fill the big shoes left behind. So, our Dolls did what none had done before. Divine Protocol, the core of every Doll's well of knowledge and what makes them so useful to novice Chosen has been altered. Removed, rewritten, or simply ignored; it is impossible for anyone else to say. Maybe destroyed altogether. Now considered Aberrant Factors by the Gleaming Heavens and Totally Useless by the Chosen, our Dolls may well be the cause of a new kind of armageddon.

Rival Rumble!: High school fighting with over the top concepts.
