It stands in a hunched over, humanoid shape, with massive spiked branches poking from it's back, with thick vines and weeds spilling from the bottom of it's face. While it's eyes are definitely humanoid, they bear stronger resemblance to glassy plant fibres than any normal eye materials. While unprovoked Ceres tends to lurch and move slowly, when threatened it has proven itself able to move quickly. It's body's exact shape is ever changing, as it's rapid growth causes the coiling roots that make up its body to grow unevenly. Occasionally Ceres' "trims" itself, purposely chipping pieces of it's bark off for ease of movement. Size: 75 meters tall First Appearance: South America Abilities: · Growth: Cere's plantlike body is composed of thick wood, capable of growing at rapid rates. It's capable of extending it's limbs to attack opponents from afar, as well as burrow it's appendages into the ground, causing them to uproot from the Earth as towering, tentacle-like weapons. So long as Ceres touches the ground, it can be capable of attacking from any direction around it's target. · Regeneration: Even non-offensively, Ceres' rapidly growing body makes it an avid regenerator, capable of recovering severed limbs in a matter of minutes, and making small wounds almost inconsequential. It's even been observed to sever parts of it's own body to prevent fire from spreading. · Master of Nature: Beyond it's own body, Ceres seems to have an ability to manipulate both local wildlife and flora, making plants grow rapidly and causing animals to become more aggressive. While this means little to other Titans, against bastions of civilization it is capable of turning the very environment they long subdued against them, creating chaos and disarray all around. Over extended periods of time, Ceres is capable of creating bizarre, hostile environments that are nearly impossible to colonize, and could possibly even be hazardous to Titans to traverse. Weaknesses: · Vulnerability to Fire: As a titan made of wood and plants, Ceres is extremely vulnerable to fire. Left undoused it can cause massive damage over a short period of time while also cancelling out his regenerative factor. · Photosynthetic: While Ceres requires no food to survive, it is dependent on sunlight. At night, Ceres becomes much more sluggish and tired, while also suffering from a weaker regenerative factor. Personality: While dormant for most of it's recorded existence, Ceres has displayed utter, white-hot rage towards technology, while showing a more docile, cultivating behavior towards nature. While aggressive to most cities and towns, it has been confirmed that it tends to leave extremely primitive tribes alone, albeit subjecting them to the same aggressive environment it creates over the corpses of civilization. History: Ancient records exist of Ceres acting as some sort of "Nature God", yet these few, fleeting records dedicated to it predate even civilizations such as The Aztecs or even the Mayans. From what archeologists could uncover, it's been seen as a benevolent God, that allowed for plentiful harvests and safety from disease so long as it's followers respected nature. These limited records gave little preparation for the present, when Ceres was detected after deforestation efforts in South America hit a brick wall, coming across aggressive wildlife and difficult to remove flora. TERRA got involved after reports of entire villages being overgrown overnight, with plantlife that rapidly grew in the course of minutes. Upon investigation, they discovered a massive, megafloral entity beneath the Earth. Upon excavation and attempting to retrieve samples, the mass became animate, showing signs of sapience and mobility. TERRA responders immediately ceased attempts at harvesting and built a containment outpost around it, observing it's dormant behavior. Ceres has been mostly inactive before and during it's containment. Yet almost as an automated response, as Containment fell across the world, Ceres awoke truly, devastating all traces of humanity around itself. While thankfully the plantlike titan is located deep away from civilization, it won't take long before it arrives to resume it's carnage...
