The demon lady of despair
"Will you stop destroying my decoration in here? It isn't free." Galbrek said with a snort to his new doll, which had accidently stumbled into a vase on a pedestal located in the room. The roses in the vase had since long withered. "I am learning to walk." The doll, whom he had named Giselle replied back. "Oh by all means, tell me something else I don't already know." Galbrek walked over to his workbench and grabbed a deformed doll head and threw it into one of the walls. That's when he heard some noise coming from the door. "What is it now?! Oh could it be? Could it possible be!" He jumped at the idea that it could be his package being delivered, but it was early. Had that half-demon girl Meredith, whom he considered on par with a slug for intelligence been more successful than his precious dolls? He didn't know which he wanted, but he had to check the door anyways, he swiftly made his way over to the door to the room Vera was in, throwing away the things he had blocked the door with. "Pink. You'll hide inside of the wardrobe over there and stay there til I return, and don't make a sound for your sake. If you chose to try make your escape, me or my associate is going to catch you and have little choice but to kill you. If you don't like that you stay put for a little bit, and I shall set you free and you go about having your revenge and at the same time tie up a loose end for me." Galbrek gave a smile, which implied he thought himself awfully cunning just now. "Giselle, you will make sure she won't leave here or I may also be in trouble. Much like Pink here. Which means you be in trouble. If I die. You die. Remember that when I grace you with my presence next time." Galbrek said, raising his nose before walking out of the room, closing the door behind him. Leaving Vera alone with Giselle. 'Now let see whose at the door. Has fucking Fegin found Adam yet? Ugh. I could use him right now. He's the only one who truly understands the hardships I have to go through.' The half-demon allowed one of his hands to stroke his forehead as he went over to one of the wooden planked windows, he lightly pulled at the curtains and he saw... 'Meredith... I hate that fucking bit- Oh?! She fucking did it! She has my brand new evil toy!' "One moment my- Ugh... My sweet little snugglebitch!" Galbrek gagged as he said that and then gathered himself, before unlocking the door. "Hurry, get in." He said after looking to the left and right, to make sure none was watching. Though out of the alleyway across the street someone was watching, his doll Fegin had appearantly returned but had seemingly waited in approaching. The half-demon did not spot him, despite the doll's colorful attire. Galbrek was too occupied thinking of what he was going to do next. "I knew you were the right one to do this for me dear Meredith~" Galbrek said in the most soothing tone he could, while at the same time sounding very condecending. "Bring her to the dinner area here and I will show you what happened to Vera." The half-demon quickly locked the door and made haste along the corridor leading to the dining room, even forgetting to look at the various paintings along the way of himself in various historical scenarios which he never actually were a part of. But what did the truth matter when they were so beautiful! In his eagerness he went over quickly to the fireplace, picking up Vera's scattered clothes. "I am certain you need no finger to verify what happened to her..." The half-demon set his gaze at Meredith, his hypnotic gaze in fact. The idea of cutting off Vera's finger, although he felt tempted was not ideal right now. She would surely scream and also he would get blood on his carpet. Human blood. Ugh. Galbrek proceeded to hold up Vera's torn up clothing. "We had our bit of fun. But more importantly now as she is out of the way, you can go ahead and live on happily ever after with that boy whose name I've already forgotten." Galbrek waved nonchalantly with his hands and then looked Andras over. "Yes, yes. This is exactly what we need to get things going for- for our race. Yes, Meredith you've done our kind a great boon. Well done~" He said in a manner to how a owner of a dog would speak to a puppy. "Sadly I will not be able to linger here and chit-chat and go over past... experiences." He said the last part through gritted teeth. I will have to get ready and take her someplace with better tools for her continued stay as my guest..." Galbrek gave a satisfied chuckle as he walked back and forth, inspecting what he in his mind thought was one of his kind. Andras. She had called herself demon lady of despair. That and her powers were originally what caught his interest. Not only could she prove to summon hell to the world, she could also replenish the demonkin race. But such plans would have to wait. Whilst the half-demon did consider the importance of heirs to his darkness kingdom come, it was secondary to making the do-goody two shoes humans pay. He began to ponder on all the options how he could make William's life miserable, oh that boy had caused him so much trouble! Meredith's reaction upon seeing the door open was to raise an eyebrow. How come he wasn't ready to receive herself? She had flown all the way towards here at the best she could manage, but Galbrek had still taken his time to open the door. Well, he did not look like the type he could do much without minions. Some demons were like that. She however, strutted in a confident step inside, despite carrying the not-so-negligible weight of Andras in her arms. One could wonder how could she still do quite an impressive catwalk. Must have been another of her fiendish inheritage traits. There was a lot of decoration in this place, Meredith thought. It made her skip a beat. Wolf's home was quite like this. I wondered how much farther she would have to go in order for him to realize. Galbrek's words were full of falsehood most of the time, but the torn and scattered clothes of Vera did sell his information. She was quite feisty, that one. Powers or not, she doubted she would give her clothes willingly to someone like Gally. She put Andras in a chair carefully, before clasping her hands. "Okay, Gally. The deal is done, yes?" She said cheerily, before cancelling the sleeping effect on Andras, as she turned her stare longingly towards the door. She did not like this gaudy place already, and she wanted to go out as soon as her business was concluded. "Yes indeed it is! Pleasure doing buisness with you... and goodbye Meredith. Watch the stairs outside and close that door will you?" Galbrek said in a soft tone of voice. '... I doubt I'll see you again you wretched bitch of a lowly human! But you shall indeed serve me one last time, when William realizes his friends are fighting amongst themselves he'd have to chose a side! How wonderfully just and right that is! I can already see the depression on his face and it makes it so much better!' He thought to himself barely able to contain his evil joy, as he swiftly moved over to Andras, using his marionette strings to tie up the girl's hands and body against the chair. The half-demon set his eyes greedily on Andras. "My little toy, I've got so much in store for you, too bad we cannot stay here for that so I'll have to transport you someplace more secure..." He snickered and threw a glance towards the doorway. He wanted aid in carrying her, where the the hells were his dolls? Adam was still missing and Fegin had been out looking, they should have been back by now. The half-demon began to wander back and forth inside of the room. "Giselle, could you be so kind as to get out here. I require your particular talents." The doll in the same room Vera was hidden inside, raised her head with a troubled look. Or rather annoyed. "I don't have time for this..." She said and moved out of the room, leaving Vera alone in the creepy room without windows. With all those masks and doll parts hanging all around the place. Giselle made her way out into the dining room and laid her eyes on the tied up Andras. "Who is this?" She asked. "Why would I have to explain things to a puppet? It is none of your concern, all you need to know is that she must not fall into the wrong hands." Galbrek said in an annoyed tone of voice. Wolf had to cling to whatever hand hold he could find in the car. It was an older sedan, but the Fallen One drove it like it was a sports car. The problem was it was decidedly not a sports car and was always on the verge of spinning out and killing them all. Finally though, the car came to a halt. Wolf needed to take a minute to breathe, almost forgetting that he was in a rush... Though, he soon remembered and climbed, shakily, out of the car. He checked his phone and this was indeed the exact spot. No, not quite. It was a nearby building. He walked up, but the blinds were pulled and he couldn't see inside. The place was a dump... practically condemned. There was no good reason for Vera to be here. There was no good reason for anyone to be here. There was no reason to be polite. "Stand back..." he told the two who were with him. His hammer burst back into existence and he walked up to the door. . . . . . . . . . . . . S M A S H!!! The hammer swung into the door which practically exploded on impact. He then stormed inside, down the entry hallway. Already he could see people at the end, but not until he was almost halfway down did he process everything he was seeing. Galbrek. Some... other person. Andras, tied up. Meredith. The Fallen One had been truthful. His worst fears of what that could have meant were true. Wolf just stopped, the anger bleeding out of his eyes until they just looked empty. The hammer slipped from his grasp but did not crash to the floor, instead just turning into smoke and vanishing before it even hit the ground. "Meredith...?" He knew she'd changed... but this? Meredith never had to look for Wolfie. She had found her. And by the looks of it redhanded. She stood there frozen, she had to think quickly, else all this work had been done for naught! She really had to... "Wolfie, I..." She stammered. It was then when more figures had poured in, and one of them waved his hand in front of Wolf's vacant stare. A garishly looking girl with a skirt and tonfas . And a mask... it fitted the description of the one who had given Wolf the fight of his life. "Shot through the heart, and you are to blame" Celestine said in a singsong voice. "Darlin' you give love a bad name..." He paused as he walked towards meredith, who was still in shock and struggling to get her bearings. Her expression turned to horror as her neck became a fountain of blood after a scalpel drew a cut through it. "You should not take away the toys of the big kids, titty monster. Now sleep, I have an Andras to rescue." He said nonchalantly, his dress splashed in blood. Meredith tried to talk but all what came was a gurgle, she fell to the ground, life escaping out of her. Galbrek turned around on the sound of his front door being smashed to pieces, he dropped Vera's clothpieces to the floor as it happened. He quickly jumped back and got up behind Andras. "Nnnnnn! F-fucking shit... Shit! Shit! Why now of all times?" He watched as he began to undo a few of the strings which held Andras stuck to the chair. The sounds of heavy footsteps down the corridor made the half-demon hurry, sweat dripping from his forehead. On seeing Wolf the half-demon's face grew sour, very sour with a mix of... 'Uh oh.'. 'Damnation and destruction! Ahh, but that dumb snugglebitch is in the way! She will buy me the time needed to slip away! Hahah-' His mental plans crumbled as more figures poured in, one of them he recognized. The masked mephisto student. 'I knew that idiot was a backstabber, have some fucking class for hells sake.' Then Galbrek grit his teeth, as the masked mephisto student drew a scalpel through her neck. 'What? You fucking bitch! How dare you stab her before I can release my own fucking plot to kill her! That was my snugglebitch to stab! Grrrrr! Where the hell is Adam?! Fegin you fucking twat where the hell are you?! What this fucking masked mongrel wants my brand new evil toy, think again wormfood, I am not giving this up, not to anyone!' Galbrek put one of his arms around Andras' chest and lifted her off the chair, the strings falling, then he moved his other hand to her neck grabbing hold of it. "One more step towards me and I shall drive these strings right into her fucking skull! If I can't have this toy, no one shall fucking have it! This dumb bitch has been working with this masked freak to kidnap your pink haired bitch to get in on the good with you piss knight! I am not the worst guy here, I am just the most evil. Giselle! Keep these idiots off me! If I die so will you!" The doll reacted in a serious manner and raised both her fists up and stepped closer to Galbrek, and from the other end of the hallway came a whistle. "Yohoo! Master Galbrek, we have some guests, shall I throw them out?" "Fegin! You fucking fail get in here and defend me!" Galbrek yelled in a stressed tone of voice. "You people go over into that other room and you find the pinkhaired girl, all of you move there and I will take my leave with my gains. We both win. Except this masked backstabber whose going home emptyhanded!" "No!" Wolf froze up as Meredith fell to the floor, gushing blood. "Wh-why!?" But he couldn't make himself move. He'd barely been able to process her betrayal before she'd been cut down. He barely even acknowledged Galbrek's threat to harm Andras. But then he mentioned Vera and he blinked. Was... he saying that had also been Meredith? Wait, was he saying Vera was really here somewhere? Meanwhile in the other room, Vera's hand hovered over the door handle. What was going on out there? Wait, was Wolf here? If he was here... If he was here then the deal with Galbrek was off! And then Galbrek demanded Giselle protect him and Vera panicked. No, if she did that she'd be killed for sure! She'd barely figured out how to walk! She'd felt like both her and Giselle were victims of Galbrek. She hadn't yet been out under Galbrek's sway. She wanted to believe they could both get out of this... Maybe that was stupid. Maybe it shouldn't be her priority... but... She turned the door knob, Giselle had never locked it behind her, and burst into the room. "No! You can't fight him! You'll-" And at that moment Wolf's head snapped around to look at her. For a moment Vera was just paralyzed, but then she remembered exactly what had happened to her. Her clothes were still gone. She flushed red and pulled the loose cloth she'd been clinging to tighter around her, suddenly unable to meet Wolf's gaze. It was a foreign feeling, which made it all the more painful. A feeling of shame. And as she looked away from Wolf she saw Meredith bleeding on the floor and she forgot all of that for a second, just staring. As what she was looking at sunk in, she hazarded one more glance at Wolf. His eyes looked... lost. This was bad. Wolf felt relief wash over him for a brief second at the sight of Vera. Proof that he hadn't lost anything. Then he saw what she was wearing, or the lack of it, and the way she could barely look at him. He clawed at his own face with his hand. It was too much. His head spun. His breaths became ragged gasps. "What..." his jaw clenched, "...did..." his voice turned to a growl, "...you..." his knuckles turned white as his own fingers dug into his face "DO!?" He screamed and he didn't even know at who. Red smoke suddenly burst up around him like a flash fire. For a brief moment his spiked armor could be spied through the smoke, a strong, red glow emanating from it. And then it flew away. The armor vanished back into the smoke and Wolf fell to a knee, breathing heavily. His hair was quickly becoming drenched with sweat and he was left there with the red smoke just hanging in the air around him... Andras weaved in and out of consciousness. She had never been roughed up this badly, and she was briefly brought out of Lethe by jolts of pain only to sink beneath to unconsciousness again. Moments of color flashed before her eye... A crash pulled Andras up once again. Her body felt leaden from the previous fight, but she tensed as she saw it all unfold. Wolf had come to save her... But then something else happened. Blood. Someone had cut Meredith's throat. Andras stared at the person's body. She knew the voice, but she didn't want to put the face to the action. She couldn't raise her eyes to their face. That someone... To think they could so coldly do that... Andras's eyes flooded with tears. She was jerked from her position, being held hostage, but her mind refused to acknowledge it all. The strings pressed against her skin painfully, but she could only look at the blood through her tear-filled eyes. There was shouting, and then... Vera's voice. That had been enough for her to wrench her eyes away from the blood. And then she saw Vera's state. Andras's jaw clenched even as the tears still rolled down her cheeks. Her mind was torn between grief and anger. 'You've got to do something. You can't stay still. You know your cards, and you can get out of this. What would a Demon Lady of Despair do?' The strings bit into her skin, as someone new entered the scene. Much in contrast to the scene around him, he seemed calm. 'Right. Calm. Breathe. It's like they said... Bend with the storm, and repay in kind.' Her cards flashed into existence, though she didn't need to see them; she already knew what to cast. Galbrek's strings were magical constructs, and thus they were susceptible to many types of magic. The spell she had was fast enough to cast before he could react. "Scatter!" She shouted, casting a spell to destroy the strings binding her. Galbrek's strings were reduced to a glittering dust, and Andras dropped to the floor. She half-crawled, half-jumped away from him, towards the other side of the room. She quickly readied her other spells, in case anyone tried to come at her. Her breathing was close to hyperventilating, and it was punctuated with small sobs. But she was at least free. Celestine stood for a moment still, his fist clenched. Trust cornered rats to get nasty. He wondered if he should simply let him kill her and be done with it. And then start killing all his family members one by one. Just because he needed a hobby to fill the gaps. But he stood obediently still, waiting for a gap. There came another girl. Pink hair. Half dressed. The years had filled her curves a little better, but the gears on his mind clicked. Vera Goh. His first girlfriend. His first crushed heart. He was dating the now angry and panting nerd? No wonder why he was flipping out so badly. His powers vanished and appeared with the mist, and were related to extreme emotions it seemed. That much lingering mist... it didn't look like a defensive application. More like a buildup which to reveal something nasty. Things were looking a bit dire. He was not able to read the guy at all. Was he mad about the titty monster? The fact that Vera was all but baring her perky bosom for the world to see? Both? He assumed the worst case scenario, as he gripped his scalpel and tonfas firmly. Birdboy seemed content with covering the naked flesh of the haughty spitfire, but the damage had been done. On another moment, another time, he would have celebrated that. And then, a stroke of luck. Turns out that Andras wasn't as fragile flower as she seemed, and much like Galbrek would rue, she got out of her binds, denying the little demonspawn the much needed shield to endure the retaliation. He moved fast, knowing this was a chance amongst many, and put himself between Galbrek and his dolls, and the shocked Demon Lady of Despair. "Well, things have gotten a little messy, Demon Lady. How about you try to get outside and leave the big siblings to play a bit? I would carry you on my arms, but well, they're grimy." He said, unslinging his weapons, his eyes alternating between the twerph, the dolls, and the ticking timebomb that was Wolf. "You know, it's a funny thing . I never expected myself to pull Vera Goh out of a bind. This calls for a prize..." He gleefully added, before withdrawing his mask and letting it roll towards Andras. "I want you to see my face in the fight to come." As Vera had burst out through the door, Galbrek's quickly saw how how Wolf reacted on seeing her. 'Shit...' He grit his teeth tighter before opening his mouth to reply to Wolf. "I didn't do anything! This was his idea, it was his fault! Him and the idiot he just cut down. Now hes trying to cut down all who knows the truth as I do!" Galbrek nodded his head towards Celestine, as Wolf had by the sunk to the floor. Then came a person whom Galbrek had not seen before, this boy didn't seem human nor was he a demon for sure. He spoke to Andras and urged her to use any cards she had. 'Cards? What fucking cards? Doesn't the idiot know she's- she's fucking awake?!' Then he heard Andras voice, how she shouted the word: Shatter! Which had reduced the strings binding her into nothing, Galbrek instinctively stepped backwards on seeing this. "How did you? Tcch!" Galbrek asked, but it was a question whose answer he did not have the time to wait for, this was turning out bad, really bad. He held both his hands slightly close to himself, there was only one way he could get out of this now that his hostage had made her escape out of his grasp. By force. "I won't let you have your way! Not this fucking time!" Galbrek shot out new strings from each of his fingers, which began to spin around him in quick speed. Like a slicing meatgrinder, it was something he usually refrained from doing as it was overly taxing on him during a longer period of time, it also required him to concentrate slightly more than what he was used to, and he hated to put in extra work but this time he really had to or these guys were surely going to kill him. "I'm going to cut you into pieces you traitorous midget! Fegin! Giselle! Kill that birdboy and get the cardgirl for me!" Galbrek stepped forwards with the marionette strings spinning around him, as he attempted to force the people by the connection between the dining room and the hallway to chose a direction to step towards. 'I'll make for my escape and then I'll can start all over again...' Fegin, his hulahoop using jesterlike doll made a run for Nasaraph as soon as he heard Galbrek's order, he swung his magically empowered hulahoop ring towards the birdboy in a diagonal manner. While Galbrek's newest doll, Giselle stepped out to punch Andras in the belly, her steps were however not as quick nor as refined as Fegin's. Andras freeing herself was like a cue for what happened next. Or perhaps it was simply coincidence. The red smoke that still lingered began to bleed black. The smoke wrapped itself around Wolf, tighter and tighter until all one could see was a black orb. For a moment it sat there, silent. Then it began to pulse, slowly at first, but then fast and faster like a dreadful, giant heart. Then for a moment it went silent and still. Finally the dark shell cracked. Jets of black smoke scythed out with such force that the floorboards cracked on impact. A moment later the sphere burst in its entirety, sending cascades of the dark smoke flooding over the floor. It struck with the weight of water as it washed over their feet. Anything not nailed down or heavy enough was swept away by the sudden storm. Vera clung to the wardrobe doorway, eyes shut tight. She knew what this was and her body trembled at the memory. When she felt the flood of smoke stop, she reluctantly opened her eyes. The spot where Wolf had stood was empty, simply a small crater of smashed floorboards. It was already on the move. And there it now stood, by Andras, Giselle, and The Fallen One. "No, d-" Vera tried to speak, afraid of what would happen to the unfortunate doll, but already it moved. Before Giselle could strike Andras, Wolf grabbed her arm and flung the doll aside, sending her tumbling over the nearby furniture. There was something unsettling about the way he stood there. It was totally silent. He didn't speak. And if one took a moment to really listen, or at least try to, they'd realize he didn't even seem to breathe. He was like a statue... until it was time to strike. It became clear that Giselle had never been the target, she'd just been in the way. Even before his head turned, his hand shot out to wrap around The Fallen One's neck, hoisting him off the ground -- and only then did his gaze come around. There was no forgiveness in the armor's unyielding grip. His right hand purposefully moved to the sword at his hip, drawing it and letting the metal ring out ominously. It was like he wanted his victim to see it coming. Or maybe he just wanted the sensation of choking to sink in. But the blade wasn't for them. Wolf suddenly became a blur of motion. He flew at Galbrek as if he wasn't surrounded by razor-wire. The blade swung, slicing through the wires in one go. The mere pressure of the blade opened a shallow cut on the half-demon's cheek. He then shoved The Fallen One forward into Galbrek, his charge still ongoing as he aimed to slam both into the wall, sandwiching them between his hand and the crumbling plaster. The wall creaked and cracked as he pressed them into it, but then his grip opened, dropping the two to the floor. He stepped back and then hoisted the blade, pointing it at them in challenge. And Vera knew why... just like last time... it wanted to toy with its prey. And with it distracted by them... Vera took her chance. She cut through the battlefield to where Giselle had landed. "You can't get back up!" she fell to her knees next to her, but knew there wasn't much she could do. She'd seen the doll toss Galbrek around. She'd never be able to hold her down. But she'd also heard what Galbrek had said. Their lives were bound. "I-I'll think of something, but you can't fight him! Not... not like this..." Wolf, no, that thing had no concept of mercy. Nasearph grinned as the doll ran toward him. It seemed like they were finally getting to the good part. The doll swung his hoop at him, but Naserph reached up and caught his arm by the wrist as it came down, moving forward to fire the ball of energy in his other hand point blank into the doll. When the black smoke rolled across the room it his Naseaph totally unexpectedly, the pressure of it pushing him before he could steady himself. Fegin, ironically held more steady thanks to the grip Nasearph had on him, used this opportunity to let the hoop fall from his trapped hand and catch it with the other. He brought it horizontally across Nasearph's chest, dark energy biting and burning a long wound into skin. He yelped and jumped back, shooting off his projectile at Fegin while trying to come to grips with the situation as it stood. The Fallen One had seen it coming. It had written it as a possibility that he had to risk to get Andras safe. But the feeling of lacking oxygen as well as being used as improptu club rattled him to the very bone. He heaved and coughed, his eyes fixated on the nasty armored figure that seemed to beckon him to stand up just so he could kick him down. It was no different from his own past. Him and his values, and those of this rotten world. Crawling himself out of his rather useless half demonic Junior, he seemed to start bleeding through his nose, as he went through his medicine pack, throwing one of the syringes with seemingly no particular aim in the direction where Meredith was. "You...idiot." He coughed, as he breathed him, standing on his fours. "Trust good deeds to go unpunished. Well then..." He said, as he stood on his feet. Not only his nose, his eyes seemed to bleed. For those perceptive enough... his aura had changed. One detail remained constant. No matter how ominous his opponent was, he was unflinching, resolute. Instead of a menace, he was seeing the knight as a hurdle to overcome. "...if you want a piece of me... fine, you can have it. But..." He paused, as he grinned, his smile clear and pearly white, like a predator baring his fangs. "...you will have to choose..." He said. The piercing shriek of a woman was heard afterwards, as Meredith got up, smoke coming from her neck. A needle was sticking on her neck. One of the adrenalin injections. Her eyes narrowed to slits as she set her sights into the woman with pink hair. Betrayal, was all that she could think. She took large swathes of her own pool of blood, and began conjuring a massive Hellflame rune... aimed at Vera, the object of her hatred and envy. "Between your friend, your sweetheart or me. Choose Wisely." The Fallen one added, his prediction ability firing up as he got on a battle stance. No matter how dire, he was not going to sell his hide cheaply. Andras shook her head, keeping her eyes downcast as Cel spoke. "No... I won't remember you like this." Her voice cracked and she balled her fists. "How could you..." The wave of black pushed Andras away from Wolf... Or whatever the armor was now. Andras wasn't sure, but she could understand enough to know that it didn't consider her something to kill, and that the other two did not have the same luxury. Andras had been knocked onto her back from the force. For a moment things seemed to stand perfectly still. There was no blood in her vision, only a bit of the black flowing smoke, and the tacky ceiling. But she could still hear it all, so there was no chance of her being able to stay still and forget everything that happened. Andras struggled to her knees, her cards whirling back to her hand. Wolf had the other two cornered already, tossing aside one of the dolls that tried to attack Andras directly as if it were a toy. But somehow, and most pressingly, Meredith was back up, somehow. And she was casting something big. Aimed at Vera. 'Not again! I'm not letting anyone hurt her this time!' Andras's mind raced as she formulated a plan, and diving across the room towards Vera, she cast an instant spell. The card (or perhaps Andras) had no time for theatrics. It simply vanished from Andras's hand and the effect took place immediately. A massive wall of rushing water cut the room in half, dividing the half with Andras, Vera, and the hallway exit. The sound of a massive tidal wave filled the room, though the water stayed in its shape of a thick rectangular wall. Andras couldn't see through to the other side, but she was also really not interested in what was about to happen. She grabbed Vera's hand after she scrambled to her feet, saying to her, "Vera! We've got to get out of here!" Andras had a moment of thankfulness that the slight spray from the wall was masking just how much she was crying. Andras knew what the spell was capable of, but she also knew that it could be defeated at the same time. The wall of water would stay in its initial wall-like form until any potential attackers would contact or damage it, and then it would surge outward like a massive tidal wave. Andras wasn't sure if it was strong enough to stand up after Mer's spell hit it, but she was confident it could take at least the brunt of it. "My face! My beautiful face! How dare you-" Galbrek yelled, his eyes twitching as he reached up to touch his face, as Celestine was thrown into him, causing both of them to slam into the wall. "Get off me you damn dirty golddigger!" Galbrek hissed and kicked violently around him as Celestine crawled away from him, while he was trying to crawl under the nearby table himself. To end up at the other side of it. 'In a place like this?! Screw that!' He threw a quick glance towards Celestine who'd was challenging Wolf or whomever that was right now. 'Yes, dumb idiot chose between the persistant snugglebitch, the pink idiot or the midget... while I make my escape with Andras!' Galbrek then saw the large wall of water being put forth. "W-what? Damn it!" He yelled and shot marionette strings from his right hand up into the ceiling, pulling himself up towards it, while using his left hand to call for more to slice through the top of the ceiling into whomever lived in the place upstairs. The half-demon was in a desperate hurry, like a rat fleeing a sinking ship or a rat trying to evade fire. He didn't care which, but he crawled through the small hole in the ceiling, squeezing into it and almost with a plop got into the place above. The boy which appearantly lived upstairs was hanging up his mailman uniform as the half-demon tore through his livingroom floor. "Get the fucking hell out of my way- Galbrek stopped as he saw water pressing against the floorboards ahead and grit his teeth further, he went for one of the boy's windows and opened it quickly. "Hey! Hey! What do you think you are doing?!" The boy asked in a demanding fashion. "Shut your fucking mouth!" Galbrek replied as he squeezed out of the window, and it was from there he saw the parked car outside. "Oh?" He said in a devilish manner as he leapt off the building, shooting his strings to latch unto a lamppost to swing himself right to the car. Cars had gasoline. Cars could explode. House was made of wood. If he couldn't have that brand new evil toy, no one was going to have it. Meanwhile Giselle had on the inside looked to Vera, while coming into realization she had been thrown like a ragdoll. "Thank you... But sorry, I must do what he wants. I'm dead either way if I don't." She lunged for Andras as the lady of despair was grabbing unto Vera's hand, this was Giselle's chance to get her. It was her ticket to surviving this. If she didn't act, her apparant creator would destroy her, if she acted there was a chance any of the other crazies would kill her. She did consider Vera's offer, and whilst she felt like Vera was being sincere, she couldn't rely on her word when there were these others around. Fegin had his own problems, in the form of Nasaraph whom had grabbed unto his wrist and fired a ball of energy through the doll's body. It went through the doll with ease. But Fegin gave an artificial form of grin and replied in kind with his hulahoop ring, it had been infused with 100% of his master's energy powers. "Were I just human... You would have killed me right there! This form is different! I also have the power of master Galbrek!" Fegin swung the hulahoop ring in front of him to cut his way through any projectile thrown his way, getting closer to Nasaraph. The hole in his chest did bother him, he was feeling physically weaker. That said, he was not like the dolls his master had created before, he was tougher and bore the full energy infusion in him. He couldn't keep this up forever though, he had to finish his opponent right now and get his master out of there, even if he didn't feel a hundred percent loyal to him, he knew that if something would happen to him so it would happen to him. He ran forwards and flipped midair, and swung with his sharp hulahoop ring towards Nasraph's chest, the easiest area likely to land a hit. The dark demonic energy beaming from the weapon. He had to keep up the pressure on this guy, to cripple him or incapacitate him long enough so he could get his master or the intended target. Vera actually resisted when Andras tried to lead her away. "No! I-... I can't just leave!" Somehow, some way, she needed to stop this mess from turning into a tragedy. And then Giselle made her move. Vera quickly put herself between Andras and the doll, but knew full well she could do nothing if Giselle insisted. The doll just didn't understand. Somehow she needed to make a point.. and then it came to her. The riskiest, dumbest thing she might do all day. She screamed. "WOOOOOOOOLF!" . . . Wolf looked at Meredith, then his gaze slowly shifted to Galbrek as the dollmaker made his escape. All the while his sword remained pointed at The Fallen One. He looked back to the unmasked Fallen, and then finally lowered his blade. He held his gaze for a moment before turning on his heel, apparently deciding he had other priorities. And then Vera's cry pierced through the wall of water. Whatever Wolf's destination had been was forgotten. Splinters of wood flew as he launched himself at the wall. The next thing anyone knew, the armor-clad Wolf was standing on the other side of the wall by Vera and Andras, a massive gap having been sliced into the wall behind him. His blade was still outstretched from the follow-through of his slash. The wall did not retaliate, rather it just collapsed having been thoroughly torn asunder. Vera was shocked silent. She honestly wasn't sure what she'd expected to happen, but this had certainly defied everything she'd anticipated. More pressing, however, was the sudden surge of black flames that exploded to life behind him. The flames quickly engulfed her field of view as they roared towards them. All she could think was that she'd made a huge mistake. She then saw Wolf, back still turned to the flames grip his blade with both hands. Just as the inferno was upon then he turned and swung into it. Her jaw dropped as she saw the flames fold in on themselves and then crash backwards into the floor. A roaring hiss filled the room as the flames slammed into the gallons and gallons of spilled water from the wall. Steam poured out of every opening in the room until finally they could see past it. There was a fifteen foot long fissure cut into the floor from Wolf's effort of deflecting the fire. He straightened up, the dark steel mask of the helmet staring at Meredith. It was impossible to say what he was thinking behind it, but one could hazard a guess that disappointment would be an understatement. Vera was panting. That thing wrapped around Wolf had just become ten times more terrifying than she'd thought it was. She fought to regain at least a shred of her composure. She'd done this for a reason. She needed to stop Giselle for everyone's sake. She'd already risked distracting Wolf for too long. Or worse, drawing his attention where she didn't want it. And she knew Andras was only as strong as the cards she held, and she had no idea what she had left at this point or if they'd need them later. "Y-you... can't... You can't do this. What you're trying to do... it's not an option..." She told Giselle, her voice shaking. "One more step in the wrong direction and that will be all that's left of you!" she pointed at the gouge in the floor. "If you really wanna see your family again I'll help you but if you keep fighting us then there's nothing I can do!" And then she heard the clank of Wolf's boots stepping toward them. She looked just as Wolf raised his sword at Giselle. "Stop!" She held her arm up in front of the doll. She at least deserved the chance to choose. Wolf reached out, placing a hand on Vera's shoulder. He pushed and it didn't feel human. It was like having a solid wall reach out and shove you aside. There was no give to it, no resisting. "No! I told her I would help her!" Vera shouted, grabbing Wolf's arm with all the futility that such an action held. The blade was held up to Giselle but then stopped. Then just as suddenly, Wolf turned away, leaving the three there. He stopped in the middle of the room, looking back at Cel, perhaps a warning of what would happen if anyone was dead when he returned. He then turned to march out the front hallway. As he passed by Meredith, without even looking, he flicked his blade her way. The pressure it gave off was like a blow to her face, possibly enough to knock her over in her state. He walked right by Nas as if he wasn't there, and then reached Fegin. Even then his march didn't slow. He lashed out with his gauntleted fist, striking Fegin's weapon aside and leaving the blade embedded in the nearby wall. Otherwise, he seemed content to leave him to Nas. There was only one person left in his sights. Celestine held his stance together, despite the clear disappointment from Andras. Such an innocent flower, snapping back at him? Well, he supposed he was too far gone. Only staking one's life in an exchange of blows. Meanwhile, that Galbrek had once again weaseled out of this situation. How many times he had wiped his ass ever since he had agreed to be a Mephisto overseer? Could he not have a better assessment of one's own strenght? And yet, the blows never came. The figure turned his back on him, upon prompted the question. It was clear as the day, his friends were more important than his hatred towards the world. Celestine let his weapons rest, and contained the urge to applaud sarcastically. For being a frothing murder machine powered by the gods, his judgement had been surprisingly clear. He let go of his accursed gift, the bleeding and headaches ceasing. He was not going to go through his rampage after all. Better than Vera Goh, apparently. She had never awakened her powers. What was she even doing there? Did she really think she could stop the nerd with the power of love or something? Her? Not to mention caring about the dolls at all. She switched boyfriends like used shoes. Explosions, Walls breaking down. The demonic berserker petered out anticlimatically, before the might of the frenzied warrior. Cel watched and took note. Fighting that thing would be a major pain in the ass, and he could even lose to that. But he already greedily gathered what info could find. It was then when he turned to him. "Love you too, nerd." He said, blowing a faux kiss with a look of disappointment in his face. He then looked at his side, finding the love-starved half demon still conscious, but sprawled on the floor, moping like a whipped dog. Or a heartbroken girl. Meredith had, for the most part, just came to her senses. The girl that she wanted to disappear had been protected by Wolf, and her hellflames quenched. It was a display of strength not unlike her father, and like the kin of demons, she knew she was in the wrong, just because she had never been powerful to do so. Forever would her first friend be beyond her reach, and gone were the dreams of aging together. But compared to her life flashing before her eyes... it hurt, but she could recover from that. Still, even if she accepted it, she couldn't bear herself to maintain the composture, breaking in unceremonious sniffles. Lightbringer, for the most part, eyed the situation, and just looked at the situation with the dolls, quickly petering out despite the run down house having more holes than started. Seeing Vera again, Andras rebuking him, his lip turned in a gesture of annoyance. "I need a freaking drink." He said, as he began to rummage Galbrek's wrecked cabinet, producing some expensive cognac that miraculously surived. "You gals want a sip?" Nas didn't waste any time as Wolf went past and disarmed his opponent mid leap. He reached out and grabbed the puppet by the hole that he'd blow in him earlier and, using Fegin's own momentum against him, spun and overhanded the doll down the hallway. So, what? He hadn't expected his opponent to shatter like pottery from his earlier attack. Did that make him non-human? He walked over and tore the rind out of its place in the wall. "I don't know you, or your master. But, fair is fair. You took advantage of Wolf stumbling me earlier, and now I have taken advantage of him disarming you." He spun the ring in his hands, examining it. It reminded him of a children toy back on the mountain, one he knew from an old book had been adapted from a weapon of war. He swung it experimentally a few time, practicing some of the forms he'd read from that dusty old tome, until he felt to blade of it cut slightly into his hand and stopped. "The edge being sharp all the way around makes it difficult for an untrained opponent to use against you. I suppose whatever it is your skin is made of also resists small cuts like this." Then, nodding approvingly, he rolled it across the floor back to it's owner. "It's a fine weapon." Giselle had raised both her arms in defense as Wolf had stood before her, having been distracted by Vera's words, the doll was uncertain what to do. She only knew one thing, she couldn't stay in this building. Wolf had stopped his strike to end her, she could not understand why all of this had to happen. The doll gave Vera one last look. "I'll remember that..." She said in a firm tone, before she got up on her feet. Still not as capable as Fegin on her feet, she attempted to move past Nasaraph and Fegin. Fegin whom at this point had gotten his weapon rolled back from Nasaraph, which Wolf had thrown out of his grip on his way out of the building. Fegin had been quick to step back from the rage ridden figure, knowing he would stand little chance without his weapon in hand and with the hole in his body. The doll waited for Wolf to go out of the building before he moved back to his initial spot. "Makes it two, I don't know ya either. But it's mighty generous of ya to return my weapon, it is nice ain't it, sadly I think we'll have to postpone our fight for another time. I can't let my creator get killed since that would kill me too." The doll put his feet on the hulahoop and kicked it up to his hands, where the odd weapon belonged. Before giving a jesterlike bowing motion. Then he saw how Giselle tried to get past where they stood in the corridor. He had not seen her enter among the rest, he had not seen her at all. Yet her feet gave her nature away. She was likely the one whom his creator has yelled for. 'Giselle'. "Do excuse me!" Fegin quickly dashed for the exit, keeping an eye out for Nasaraph if he would try something. Galbrek had waited outside and thought of his next move, he attached his marionette strings to the highly conveniently placed car, which was located just outside his humble hiding hell. "Why are you trying so fucking hard to die?! Get lost already!" Upon seeing Wolf come outside and take a few steps from the entrance, the half-demon flung the car towards the building and his enemy, as if one had flipped a table twenty times in just a second, causing it to spin quickly , throwing a lit gold colored zippo lighter after it. Just moments after his doll, Fegin had appeared in the entrance of the building, the doll jumped quickly up into the air on seeing his master fling the car as if it was a toy, Fegin landed on top of a nearby lamppost. "Whoa!" He said in a surprised manner. "Fegin you fucking clown, stop this fool before he gets me!" Galbrek screamed and held up his hands behind his back to drag himself up to the roof of the building across the street. "Hahaha! Too fucking bad you can't fly in that! You purebred idiot!" The half-demon taunted Wolf on his way up to the roof. Now for most people, trying to slice apart an object speeding toward them would end with the headline "idiot struck down by two projectiles." However, Wolf did not flinch as the car was sent spinning toward him, he simply raised his sword and as the vehicle was upon him he swung. The pressure coming off of the blade as it tore through metal and upholstery sent the two halves of the vehicle tumbling away from him at a safe angle. The trunk crashed into the side of the house, shattering the siding but having lost too much weight and momentum to punch through the wall. The engine just ripped up some of the front lawn before coming to a halt. With the car bisected, Wolf reached out and snatched the lighter out of the air, snapping it shut. He then stared after Galbrek as the half-demon landed on a rooftop across the street. Indeed, the armor, even with all its power, could not fly. It did, however, crouch down low, coiling up. It didn't need to fly anyway -- just jump. He launched off like a cannon shot, ignoring the dolls left in his wake. Galbrek had scarce few seconds to enjoy his high ground before the black armor alighted next to him to share it. In the same instance the blade was whipped out at his neck... only to stop, pressed hard against his skin. He turned his head, just staring at Galbrek. He held up the lighter in his armored hand, flicking it open and shut tauntingly. Snap. Click. Snap. Click. Finally it was left open, the flame burning, only for him to crush it flat in his fist, the fuel inside spurting out over the armored fist and catching flame. And for a moment he let it burn, heating up the metal, before reaching toward Galbrek's throat... As the searing fingertips began to brush against his skin, time slowed down to a crawl and stopped. The world around Galbrek seemed... shadowy. A cold presence was in his mind. It felt so strangely familiar, but it wasn't a comforting kind of familiar. Instinct warned that what he sensed was dangerous, that he should be afraid. "What a strange, wretched creature you are." A voice echoed out, loud yet far, far away. "Such a trail of misery you've left in your wake. It fills you and those around you. You do so intrigue me. And I would see more. Your designs are grand, so grand as to be out of reach, but I don't think you recognize it. A test for you then. " The voice's echo faded and let silence hang for a moment. "I want to hear you beg. " Fegin kept his stance on the lamppost as Wolf jumped, he didn't expect he could do that. Giselle ran forwards too but stopped before she exited the building, as car parts where flying over the place. "Look out master Galbrek!" Fegin yelled to his creator up on the roof, he couldn't get a good view from where he was. There was also no way he could jump -that- high or reach him. Galbrek's eyes had widened to the dark knight leaping up and grabbing hold of his throat, while at the same time keeping his blade at the ready and the flickering of the lighter. It was his life being at threat of being snuffed out and this knight had all the power in the world to do so. The half-demon's face was wrack with fear, sweat and stinging with pain. What would he do, how could he weasel his way out of this one? That's when he heard a voice, beckoning for him to beg. The half-demon quickly considered it. 'Fuck off you mindreading bum, get a life or take one! I don't have time for your half-assed flattery whomever the fuck you are, now get the fuck out of my head I have a fucking bastard up to kill me! Shoo!.' Begging? That's exactly what he had to do. This knight was a do-goodie two shoes, albeit an angry one. "I-I s-surrender! Not so fucking tight- I can hardly breathe- I give up! Don't kill me! You'll never see me again! I don't wanna die! Galbrek screamed and raised his hands up in a panicky manner. That was the moment he had waited for, a moment of ponder and hesitation, Galbrek gave a quick grin and shot a series of strings around his captor's visored helmet. "Ah, very well then..." the voice spoke with a dark chuckle and time flew back into full speed for Galbrek, his cries ringing out for all to hear. Wolf suddenly pulled the sword away from Galbrek's neck, almost robotically. However, when the strings shot out, so too did Wolf's hand once more. He raised Galbrek off his feet by his shirt collar, and then with spun the blade to slice through the strings around his visor before throwing Galbrek over the edge of the roof. As Galbrek fell, he hefted his blade... as if taking aim... Galbrek hit the ground first with his both feet ironically, causing a loud cracking sound as they gave in under him and he fall unto his back. "Ahhhhhh! My fucking leg! Don't just stand there idiot! Help me!" He screamed while grabbing unto his both legs in obvious agony, and at that Fegin jumped down from his lamppost and dashed across the street to where Galbrek was lying, he hurled his hulahoop up towards the dark figure out on the top which had chased his creator there. "Master Galbrek!" Fegin tried to grab and pull Galbrek away from the dreaded dark knight above, whose weapon was pointed directly at him. Fegin leaned over to better get a grip of his creator, who knows what would happen if he'd die. The jesterlike doll couldn't risk finding out. "Where is Adam?! This is somehow his fault! I fucking need him right now!" 'Adam... where are you? Where did you go? You left me alone...' The other doll, Giselle, stood as if struck by lightning in the doorway just watching. If she would interfere that dark knight would kill her, if she wouldn't then Galbrek would die and so would she? Or would she? Wasn't there also people behind her? Vera heard Cel offer a drink and perhaps surprisingly stomped over to him. She stared him in the eye warily for a moment before just swiping the bottle out of his grasp, throwing her head back, and chugging a fair portion of it. She then shoved it back into his hands with a wheezing gasp as she tried to catch her breath after downing so much of the burning liquid. "FUCK!" she shouted at no one in particular before hurrying toward the door. She pushed past Giselle just in time to see Wolf aiming his sword at Galbrek like a javelin. Her heart sank. She hated the horrible little man, but if he was telling the truth killing him might be worse than letting him live in the grand scheme of things. He was a liar to his core but it wasn't worth the risk. "Wolf no!" she yelled to him. "You won't just kill him!" She was actually kind of surprised that he stopped. Slowly he lowered his weapon. Practically at the same time, Fegin attacked by throwing his weapon, trying to drive Wolf off. She couldn't imagine he actually expected it to stop him, though. And indeed, it was quickly parried and sent flying off into the sunset, no doubt find a new home embedded in someone's roof a few blocks down. Wolf jumped off the building next, though he took the landing much better than Galbrek. He stood there behind Galbrek, as if needing a minute to decide if revenge or listening to Vera was more important. "You're not a killer! He's not worth it!" Vera told him. She wasn't sure she believed it herself, but she hoped he would stop... "Hnnnn hnn!" Galbrek was crawling backwards on the ground, faster than Fegin could pull him. That's when the half-demon heard Vera. 'That girl...' He thought as he grit his teeth momentarily. Was she trying to save him? No she was trying to save that knight from sullying his hands with noble blood. That's it. "Yes, you don't want to kill me! I can pay you! I am rich you know... I-I have a fucking fortune! M-my blood is noble it will make your weapon rust! I am poisonous, the air around me is! I'm unhealthy! And you be in disfavor with the gods! You should stay back! Stay the fuck away from me you murder crazy... monster!" He yelled before cursing and grabbing his wounded legs. Then the half-demon had an idea. He set his hypnotic gaze on Vera. "You must stop him at all costs or he's going to kill everyone!" He screamed out in a desperate manner as Fegin now took up a fighting pose next to Galbrek, the painted doll knew that without his weapon and in the state he was in right now he didn't really stand a chance. Celestine shook his head, upon seeing the spectacle. Vera had drank half of his drink, that pink spitfire. It was almost nostalgic, even. He left the bottle in the ground slowly, besides Andras who probably hated his guts now. He walked past the blubbering half-demon junior, as he made for the door after. The scene he was presented made him frown. No good... if this goes further he will killed , no matter what Vera does.. He gathered his wits, before smiling. "You owe me a dinner for this." Cel said, as he drew one of his scalpels, lightning quick, his hand deftly pressing Vera's pink neck to the point of drawing a small trickle of blood. "Scream for me, gorgeous. This will get his attention." He said, as he focused on activating his cursed power Vera froze up. She refused to scream. What was even the point? She knew what would happen. A moment later, without having to say anything, Wolf was staring right at Cel. He got what he wanted, or so it seemed. Wolf began walking past Galbrekā€¦ but then as he went to step by Galbrek's legs, he instead stepped firmly on the shattered bones. If Galbrek hadn't been sitting up before, one could be sure the pain would make him do so now. He then raised the blade but then suddenly flipped it so he was grasping it by the blade and then brought it down. It was known as the murderstroke by most. However, Cel should have been able to see its trajectory easily enough. The cross-guard instead of splitting Galbrek's skull like so many flower petals, came down on his shoulder, reducing bone to oh so many shards. Cel had made his point, but so had Wolf. This was their compromise. The blade was then sheathed and Wolf left Galbrek to be carted off by his dolls. Wolf strode right up to Cel and Vera and stopped, still silent as if no one was actually alive inside the black armor. In a flash his hand shot out to grab the scalpel, his thumb folding the blade back like paper before pulled Vera away from him. He made no further move to attack. Whether he sensed that Cel was not easy prey or simply felt they'd reached some sort of uneasy accord was hard to say. Celestine sighed, raising his hands as he visiblely relaxed. His eyes had registered every single thing, even what it had seemingly and rudely grabbed his scalpel. "Your breath reeks, you know." He said. "Pleasure doing business with you. Keep her away from excessive booze. It never ends well." The doctor said as he smiled. "It's all fun and games until someone dies, nerd. Best remember that, even if you can't tell left from right now." He added, rummaging through his first aid kit and quickly smacking a small band-aid on Vera's neck, before turning his back on the seemingly unstoppable mindless entity. "Mind picking the blubbering idiot over there. I will see that Ravenovich doesn't choke on his own spit and get another cab." He added before pointing to Meredith, hesitating a second before turning down Laplace, but turning it down nevertheless. Andras stumbled backwards when Wolf slashed straight through her wall. Andras knew the wall could be a match for even a giant... But this was far too much. A small part of Andras wished she had a way to measure what Wolf was capable of. The majority, however, was frozen with fear. He took them all down without a thought. He even stopped Cel from hurting Vera again. Something Andras should have done... Had she not been overwhelmed by the situation. Andras wiped the cold sweat from her brow. "W-What..." Her voice was too quiet. She cleared her throat and tried again. "What are we going to do now?" Her gaze kept briefly wandering to the armor, but jerking away. It unsettled her. She sank down to her knees, her muscles aching from the day of work and her beating at the end of it. 'Maybe I need to work on my stamina...' Andras thought, grimacing. She had a familiar feeling of eye strain from her patched eye as well. Her hand tapped the bottle that Cel left on the floor. Andras recalled Vera chugging from the bottle. 'Maybe it would help? Everyone always says they need a drink at times like these. I've never...' She brought the bottle to her lips and drank. The second the liquor touched the back of her throat, she choked, and spat some of it up, but she tried to keep drinking. Some of the drink got into her nose from the choking half-cough she did. Tears welled in her eyes from the burning sensation. 'Oh god, how did Vera do this? She made it look so cool! I'm an idiot an idiot idiot-' Andras gasped for breath and dropped the bottle, some of the drink running down her chin. She laid flat, covering her face with her arm. "Uuuuuh..." She groaned. 'At least it feels warm now.' She thought, her face flushing from both the drink and the embarrassment at how uncooly she drank it. "So that's it? We're letting them fly away?" Nasearph said, appearing behind Versa and Wolf having watched the whole spectacle from the hallway. He sighed, staring any the dolls. For a moment he'd been enjoying himself, even if his opponent was weak. Well, he supposed killing someone in that sorry state would leave a bad taste in his mouth anyway. No need to bring up unpleasant memories. He turned and headed back inside. It wasn't much better in here, surrounded as he was by crying women. He looked over at Meredith. Couldn't fight that either, not in the state it was in, even though those imp bites from earlier still itched. Leave Wolf and Vera to deal with that hot mess. And oh, look at this. Seems the damsel in distress had gotten into the firewater. He supposed there was no one else to deal with that situation, seeing as the woman who come to save Andras was in the process of helping...whoever that guy was that had kidnapped her. "Hey." He said, crouching down and poking her in the shoulder. "Nice to...meet you, I guess. I used your fire monster as a training partner, and I never got to thank you for that. So, thank you for that." He scratched the back of his head awkwardly. He had never been the comforting sort. "If you want anything from this place, point to it and I'll carry it. The way I see it everything here belongs to you and Vera now." Galbrek had screamed and recoiled as his legs were stepped on, the half-demon using both his arms to crawl away from Wolf. "Graaaah! Hngnnn!" He grabbed hold of Fegin's leg. "Get me the fuck away from here.." That was when the half-demon felt the crossguard of Wolf's blade slamming into his shoulder, the impact and pain caused the half-demon to pass out. Once Wolf had gotten further away, Fegin leaned down and picked his creator up, followed shortly by Giselle showing up. Fegin looked at his fellow doll and then gave her a nod. "Let's get out of here while we can. Screw the cab idea of that fellow." The jesterlike doll suggested, and Giselle nodded agreeingly, giving one last glance behind her back. They hastily made their way up to a crossing of the streets, there in the distance was two lights coming closer. Giselle fell slightly behind. "Get over here quickly and lift up your skirt to your thigh, hold it out towards the road... like this." Fegin motioned with his own leg, if there was any hope in the world that truck driver would stop it had to be something which made sense. Giselle gave him a cold stare, even for a doll. "Why? What is that?" She asked, to where Fegin replied. "That my dear is our salvation." The jesterlike doll swiftly replied. Giselle kept a blank facial expression but finally nodded and agreed, pulling up the gothic lolita attire her creator had dressed her in by the leg, all the way up to her thigh. Sure enough, the large truck that came towards them stopped after seeing the colorful jester and his female friend and what looked to be a drunk kid. The large truck's tires wheezed as it came to a halt and a cap wearing middle aged man looked out the passenger window. "Hey, you guys need a ride?" He said and looked Giselle over while he took off his hat, to slick his hair backwards to make himself seem more presentable. Then he realized that there were two more people present so he looked at Fegin whom was handing over the drunk kid to the girl which now stood there holding him in a princess carry. "Hell yeah, we do need a ride, can we jump in?" Fegin said before jumping into the truck, in the seat next to the driver. There were three seats in the front of the truck. "Though I've only got two seats in here so we gotta have someone ride in the back" The driver said as he opened the door on his side, so that he could go and unlock the back of the truck. "That's not right. I count two here... and..." Fegin put his foot on the driver's rear as he was trying to step out of the truck to kick him out. "Three..." Fegin said in a witty tone. Giselle had at this point gotten Galbrek into one of the seats, and she moved him to the middle one as Fegin kicked the driver out. "Thank you very much. Don't feel too bad, the punishment of hitting on an inanimate girl is worse than getting faceplanted into the street." Fegin said as he took the seat, closing the driver's door. "Right, time to learn how to drive this thing..." He said as everyone got into their seats and he pushed the gas to drive off, abit too risky than some might have liked. But fainted people cannot voice their opinions.
