There had been an assassination attempt on her fiancé's mother, someone Guin was rather close to. Even if Allison was somehow proved right, that didn't make any of this less real to her. Even if it was all just happening inside of their heads, it was real - even Dumbledore had said as much in the Harry Potter books. She bit her lip slightly, hearing Pietro's responses. Her hands shook. Do you want me to come back to the Palace? she inquired. No Guina, stay there where it is safer, I don't want to risk these guys still being here when you return and don't want to risk you getting hurt. Guin nodded slightly, it was a bit of a force of habit. Okay. I'll be here with my grandfather. Be careful, okay? Okay, don't worry, I see one of the ones responsible right now. ....Kill the bastard. He might get a public execution tomorrow. Taking a breath, Guin shook her head at her grandfather and Allison. "No, let's get those tests done. If the Human Resistance is there, it's not safe anyways," she replied. They were already down in the lab and she went and got everything set up for the brain scan. It essentially looked like a standard set up for an MRI - a giant open tube of sorts that Allison would be able to lie down and stick her brain inside. Guin fetched a small vial of a dye and injected Allison with it. "We're going to do a PET scan to eliminate some possibilities, I just injected you with a dye that'll allow us to do that. Of course, we're doing an MRI as well and... Gramps, anything else you want to look at?" Guin asked. She didn't really know what to think about Allison. She knew that she could do another telepathic sweep of her brain, but she trusted the scientific tests more. If Allison was telling the truth, then there were troubling implications. Would she be able to trust any of the members of the Royal Family? Was this reality better or worse than the one they had before? She felt like she'd need a degree in philosophy in order to sort out the moral dilemmas that Allison's claims brought on. "When you're ready, lie down and keep your head still. Do not talk," Guin instructed her friend. They can see me," Ben muttered, astonished and not sure if he believed it. As a ghost, he didn't dream, otherwise he would have chalked all of this up to a nightmare. Maybe Casper had found a way to share his dreams with him? No, that didn't make sense, Casper had never been able to do that before... but then again, he also hadn't been able to channel Ben into the real world. Casper had turned the intangible tangible. "Jackie does not seem nearly as stunned as he should be," Casper informed his friend. It must have been normal for him to be able to do this sort of thing in this world. His arms were shaking a bit from the effort, but the blue glow didn't leave his hands and Casper had zero idea how to turn these things off! It was a bit strange, hearing Jack try to negotiate with him. Usually, this sort of talk was reserved for whenever David and Val went nutty and there weren't enough inhibitors around. Then there was the cliché serial killer, yelling at him and calling him a drug addict. At least it was true. "Hey Ben, I have an idea," Casper said, after Mary dealt with the vines. "Yeah?" Ben asked, turning his head to look at Casper. He still had his tentacles wrapped around the other three. "...Hulk smash?" Casper suggested. While he hadn't ever met the Hulk before and neither had Ben, they both had watched plenty of YouTube videos. There were tons of them featuring the Hulk going crazy and flinging things around. Ben seemed to get the idea and he released Jack and Mary. Hopefully Jack would be able to get the nice, yet still slightly cliché, Strawberry Shortcake seeming woman to safety. Ben let out a bit of a scream and Casper gave him a look, before the ghost started flinging Chrysi around like a rag doll. He was trying his best to knock her out, but the ginger wasn't down for the count just yet. "...Well, there was bound to be some technicality difficulties, but you got this Ben!" Casper cheered. He figured if Ben didn't succeed, Chrysi would try to kill them all again.

Dominika Novikova and Runa Blake

Location: The Quinjet - Sydney, Australia Skills: N/A
Runa's heart skipped a beat, seeing James' weapon pointed at Lance. Loki had to be behind all of this, in some shape or form, she was certain of it. Who else could do something so cruel and twisted? She silently cursed the God of Mischief, swearing to bring him to Asgardian justice once this was all resolved. Her hands twitched slightly as one of the agents raised the lamp, closing the quinjet, but she didn't perform any magic. "If Lance is shot or otherwise harmed..." Runa let the threat trail off. "My uncle, Loki, he may be responsible for this... This smells of one of his tricks, but his magic should not be this strong as to warp an entire realm..." Maybe Loki had obtained the Reality Stone - Runa could see that working, giving him the power to do this. However, she had to wonder why he would set up a world like this. Was it to punish them all, by twisting their greatest desires into the darkest nightmares? She supposed it could be him, but she knew that her uncle desired a crown. He would have made himself King of the Nine Realms. But who else could it have been, if not Loki? However, the agent had asked her to try to calm Lance. She didn't like the idea of moving towards him, when the one agent had his gun pointed at Lance. Against her better judgment, Runa walked slowly over to Lance and took his hand, giving it a squeeze. It was the most she could do and if the agents freaked out over it, well, the not-sorceress could explain she had made Runa do it, in order to keep him calm. Meanwhile, Novikova was digesting what Cass told her. She had to put her disappointment in Niah's moderately anti-human and anti-inhuman sentiments aside. Wolverine was like her and he remembered both worlds, both realities - while both Tinley and Cass only knew the original reality. She had to assume that everyone else here was clueless. Tinley's response to her statement further confirmed what Cass had told her. Thankfully, no one here had the ability to hear thoughts beyond Tinley, meaning she could keep this information private. "Agent Kennedy will get his," Novikova agreed. "Though... Agent Abercrombie, I did see something you would appreciate when I looked at the boy. I saw an amusing other life for him - one where he was a female engineer named Theresa." That was Sparky's real name. She didn't know who here could be trusted, but everyone knew that she had the ability to see alternate lives of an individual, giving her gazes into the different universes in the multiverse. Only Tinley and Cass would understand the implications of that statement. If Lance and Sparky were the same person, then since Lance Banner existed in their original reality, it meant that either he or Sparky had to have come from a different universe. How that fit into all of this, Novikova had no idea.
