That's a fair worry! If it helps you any bit in deciding, I typically don't like being the GM that harasses people to post. I've been in RPs that had a once a week strict posting schedules and they were great! I've also been in RPs that updated once a month and those were also really great. I guess what I'm trying to say here, is that the posting frequency clause is just there as a precautionary measure in case I do need to kick the horse along. And as long as your willing to communicate if you won't be able to post for a bit, I see my duty as a GM to help work around that. Of course the thing there is communication it has to happen for me to be able to help. I'm here for you guys not the other way around!

And the nervousness about making a character is also understandable. Though to that end, my typical response at the risk of sounding like a self-help coach asshole or every sport's team coach I've ever had, "nothing ventured, nothing gained".

But I also understand the need to balance life, RPs, and everything else. And if you are unable to join at the current time that is okay as well!
