[@Rondo of Blood] Fighter or Paladin works just fine. Sebastian and Cassandra are... not designed to stick around. I've built them specifically to assist in this first Episode, given its notoriety for difficulty.

When it comes to equipment and gold, you can negotiate for something (for example, changing the fighter's light crossbow for a shortbow, or scale mail instead of chainmail), but other than that, only standard equipment.
