Okay so basically... imagine a Steampunk world with flying airship, where cities float above the clouds because the world below is too dangerous for Mankind. A world filled with monstrous creatures that can't simply be hunted or warded off. From dog-like beasts the size of a schoolbus to colossal creatures the size of mountains. Mankind has lost their own world to these beings, and now it's time to fight back. 

Mankind has a plan. The most dangerous beasts are the ones that can fly. Only when Humans have mastered the ability to combat these creatures can they even think about moving towards the surface, and starting to make it safe enough to live on again. And so, they started to create flying ships for war. Sure, they already had airships, that is how you get from one city to the next. They couldn't have the idea to make a city fly without also making some form of transportation fly too. But never before have they built flying ships specifically dedicated to the purpose of war, be it against man, or beast. 

Now this is where we come in. The crew of a small ship tasked with hunting down and killing smaller flying beasts. Truth is, none of us know what we'll find out there. Just because you go hunting a deer doesn't mean you won't run into a Lion... or something. The fact of the matter is, there's much worse things out there than what we're being sent to hunt.

But can you handle it?

The RP will revolve around a small crew on board a ship, as they hunt down, and hopefully successfully slay beasts of all types from swarms of Skysharks to small Wyverns. But over time, through devleopment in the RP, the ship will be upgraded, and in time replaced entirely. Imagine a starting point where the crew is basically flying a glorified blimp with a couple guns on it, but far down the line they have themselves a fully steampowered, armored battleship with many guns crewed by hundreds of people. Our characters won't be the only thing to develop, the technology they have to work will as well, so long as they are successful in their hunts, allowing Mankind to spread and grow.

And yes, the name is Battleships and Dragons. Dragons are by far the most dangerous and powerful foes Humanity has to face. They just... aren't exactly the kinds of things you go off hunting in a Blimp.
