"If you really want to throw away your life for a miserable shell of a man like him-" He said, nodding to Colin's rain soaked form. "-then be my guest. But don't be surprised if he doesn't show you the same kindness. While not entirely selfish or treacherous in nature, Colin doesn't exactly seem like the kind of man you can trust to watch your back. Especially with the way he handles his inner demons." Vitius said, smirking slightly as he shifted his gaze back to the inn's entrance. "I know I'm not one to judge..." He went on, shrugging slightly. "Specially not in your eye's, but I know what it's like to go through shit you'd rather avoid. I know what it's like to lose people you care about, and I sure as hell know what it's like to have to deal with that kind of baggage. And one thing I've learned at the end of the day is that you either find a means of closure, or you crack under the pressure. As for your friend there? He'll crack. It might take days, months, or even years, but eventually it'll happen." Vitius said, his voice now a whisper. Letting out a barely audible sigh, the fledgling vampire readjusted the corpse slung over his shoulder, pushed open the inn's moisture soaked wooden door, and stepped inside. He had done what he felt needed to be done, and said what he'd felt needed to be said. All that was left to do now was wait and see what happened next. [/center]
