I'm a bit stretched right now in terms of projects I am involved in, BUT I have an appetite for an RP out of my comfort zone.  I've mainly done Superhero, supernatural, fantasy and slice of life RPs.  I've just joined up a new RP that is a little more novel, but I crave more!

That said, I'm considering hosting a Western RP.  Think Red Dead Redemption with original characters and stories.

I'm posting this in the Interest thread because I have nothing built, yet.  As the title implies, this is simply a check to see if there is interest and if there is, I will potentially do my best to create a world for us to play in.  I adore the original Red Dead Redemption and am playing the sequel right now and I can't help but fall in love with the lifestyle of the wild west.

All that said, I would most certainly need help building this so I am looking for a Co-GM or two to get this thing off the ground.  Here is my prompt of an idea:

	[*]Everyone can start out with their own story, their own backgrounds, their own motivations.

	[*]All players will eventually be united under 1 banner: the gang's. This will make it easier to control the overarching story.
[i](That said, if you want to be a lawman that has infiltrated the gang undercover, I'm totally open to that)[/i]

	[*]The gang will have tasks that they must complete.  They can do it solo or in couples or groups.

	[*]In any PvP situation, we will establish a system to decide the victor.  Any PvE conflicts will result in whatever way the writer chooses unless the "NPC" is being controlled by the GM (like a main antagonist), in which case the PvP system will be the decider.

	[*]I would provide a main plot line while depending a lot on the players to provide plotlines of their own.  Does your character have an archrival that needs to be dealt with?  Do they want to pull off the ultimate heist?  Is there a lost love that will take some obstacle hurdling to get to?  I can think of plenty of player generated content that people can be a part of to keep the game interesting.  Needless to say, this type of game will require players with creativity and a willingness to take the reigns every now and then.

	[*]Things can get weird!  Red Dead Redemption is known for straying toward the strange.  From zombies to vampires to UFOs to the apocalypse and beyond!  This game will not be a simple repetition of High Noon duels.  If I'm gonna host it, it's gotta keep my attention so we will undoubtedly get colorful on some of the legs of the story.

This game will likely be posted in Casual or Advanced, considering the mechanics involved and the fact that this sort of storytelling will require some investment from the players to truly write content-moving material.

Anyway, that's my itch that I'm thinking about scratching.  If you've got the itch, too [s]then it's probably herpes[/s] then let me know and we'll see if we can round up a posse.  If you're interesting in Co-GMing this with me, then let me know that as well.  With enough interest (and support from one or two people who one to help me build this world) I'll make this happen.
