Aside from the aching, she had to admit she was just a little embarrassed. Or a lot embarrassed. Hugely embarrassed, if she was being completely honest. Said embarrassment doubled when Dracion marched over, the girl wishing the ground would swallow her up.

Aine's arrival distracted her from going further, greatly intensifying the urge to melt into the ground. As delighted as she was to see Aine again, she wished it was under better circumstances. Fortunately she felt the same, working some fascinating life magic on her. Apparently you could get dependent on it? This must have been that whole addiction thing Hayes mentioned--wait, no, that's not right. Flying across the arena must have scrambled her brains, but she paid more attention to Aine's words than her magic for the moment. A hot bath would definitely hit the spot right now...

Once Aine finished, Lilie cautiously sat up, ignoring the low throbbing as she paid full attention to Aine's magic as she healed Aaron. Life magic, see [i]that[/i] was a cool affinity to have. And handy seeing as how her pain felt like it was melting away for the most part. At Aine's mention that he was used to getting healed, Lilie frowned, absentmindedly rubbing her left shoulder. Right, Lucan was his teacher, and he had certainly handled Victor a lot better than she did.
