Fendros pouted with an uncommitted 'what' and glanced between Ahnasha and the caverns around them in disbelief. He blinked twice and craned his head forward. "Are you listening to yourself?" He held up his hand, forefinger and thumb nearly touching. "I saw Rossarm get this close to besting her in a magical duel. That makes at least two people on our side capable of bringing her low. With what Sabine can do with that staff she found, it could even be three." Fendros let it sink in for just a second. "You might be learning how to become a bloody Divine for all it matters. She can and will use you, Ahna. And these days, she has every reason to." He straightened. "And now, with a dug-up grave with a trail that leads to your secret laboratory here-" He put the tips of his fingers on his chest. "-I have to cover for you and hope that Saras and Sabine decide to as well." He held a fist up on his hip. "This is a...putrid situation you've put me in, Ahna. Even before knowing that you didn't trust me enough to tell me."
