It would sort of be a mix of the two. Each character controls the main member of a house, be it lord or lady. They choose a side of the war, and act within a certain region. We'll be running through all of the battles of the War of the Usurper, and once we reach what is considered the end of the war, I'll take a vote and see who wants to start forging our own path (extend the war of the usurper to be a longer conflict) or go through the rest of the canon. Canon characters are not permitted, as I wanted to make this more of a seperate take on Westeros from different points of view than the major houses. However, we will be running into characters from the canon, if that makes sense. I'll probably give control of them to different people other than just myself for however long we need them for.
