[@Claw2k11] Crapsack world, so a causeless vigilante distributing justice that isn't a daimyo, shogun, or emperor's justice would get hunted down and publicly executed faster than you can say Itadakimasu. Additionally, making a character that's like Benkei -- a huge badass monk turned ascetic mystic -- but stripping him of monkhood and asceticism just makes him a huge badass. That being said, I have been proven wrong before, so you are welcome to apply with that character idea in mind.
