Eris had to admit that he was greatly amused by Maxwell's lackluster response. The distaste practically rolled off the mage in waves; he made absolutely no effort to hide his disapproval of Eris. At least he knew who he was, though with how many times had someone called him [i]Eric[/i] he had to admit he wasn't as affected as he should have been. Okay, a little annoyed, but that wasn't important right now. He didn't believe a word he said, which would be for the better in the long run. At least he didn't have to worry about him falling for some stupid lie.

Giving him a smile, Eris gave Maxwell a squeeze as he laughed. [color=ccff99]"You are just [i]adorable[/i],"[/color] Eris told him as he released him, making sure to stay in his path in case he wanted to walk away. [color=ccff99]"You think I'm lying? What reason do I have to lie to you?"[/color] Well, there were actually a lot of reasons he could be lying, but that was his own business. But he had to be careful; the naturally wary mage would likely disbelieve everything he said going forward. He needed some concrete proof to lay down the foundation.

Getting an idea, Eris tapped his chin as he remembered the vampire in the administrative hall. He actually wasn't entirely aware of what the other guy's deal was, but he did recall seeing him converse with Miss Janice-Jeanine-Whatever. [color=ccff99]"Let's see...your previous owner was a good six feet tall,"[/color] He raised his left hand to imitate the vampire's height, his fingers slowly arching. [color=ccff99]"Dark hair, lean, must have been a runner in a past life. He had a real nice face, too."[/color] He nodded to himself as he described the other vampire, not bothering to watch Maxwell's reaction as he looked at the fit-bit. 

He inhaled before giving the mage a short sigh, looking back at him. [color=ccff99]"No game, Alderman, but if your vampire chose not to say his farewells, that's on him, not me,"[/color] He stated the obvious.
