She's neither too short nor too tall and has no particularly outstanding facial features past her shimmering, turquoise eyes. She wears a plain metal ring on both the middle and index fingers of her left hand. Those hands of hers are also often covered in some form of nail polish, usually a blue colour of some kind. When out of her school uniform, Skye prefers to walk around in sleeveless tops and moderately sized shorts held up with a belt. Her clothes are a mix of soft whites and blacks. She prefers to keep her hair in twin-tails at all times using rubber bands that have the same black shade as it. Skye doesn't have the patience for laces, so she often wears a pair of ballerinas or loafers. The mask is fashioned after a crow, reminiscent of what a plague doctor would wear. A cut on the left side of the dress reveals Skye's thigh, making it more alluring. There are a set of moderate heels covering her feet when in this costume.
Height 1m70 Personality Skye is a reckless and ill-tempered woman. She doesn't have the patience for long, drawn out things. This is why she prefers to live in the moment and enjoy life day-to-day rather than spending time thinking about the future or past. Her bad temper makes Skye unapproachable for some people, which isn't helped by her often foul & bothered facial expressions. It makes her stand-offish and even rude. Despite not being one for thinking ahead, she's still got a lot on her mind at all times. The young woman isn't boyish though; she still loves traditionally girly things like make-up and stuffed animals. A sense of fashion and love for sweets compliment this as well. She doesn't have much of a reason to talk about these things, though. When provoked, she'll dodge the question or deny it outright. Skye feels the need to have a more 'tough' and 'intense' personality, causing a latent sense of shame for even liking the above to begin with. Skye's mom made sure she didn't like her dad, either. Back when she was a wee lass, Skye was often witness to a lot of fights between her two parents. The marriage hadn't gone very stable ever since she got there. Skye's mom always talked negatively about her dad, too. At one point, when the girl was only 5, her mom left the husband to rot in London and took her daughter back to Wishaw, Scotland, where she'd originally came from. The living situation wasn't exactly the most comfortable, but with child support the two of them could make due. Her mom always spun it in a way that made it seem like her dad didn't want to support the two of them anymore. That he thought Skye had been nothing but misery that tied mom and dad together with an iron chain. It was always a new story every day, something horrible her mom had to share. Alcoholism. Domestic violence. At one point, she even claimed she was forced into the marriage through blackmail. It was all to excuse and turn a blind eye to her own bad habits, though. Skye's mom never had any money around, spending it all on cigarettes or alcohol. If Skye knew what they were at the time, she might've even figured drug abuse. It turned her mom hostile after a while, too. The stories of how her dad was a horrible person that didn't want Skye around started to be more applicable to her mother. Skye wasn't allowed to come out of her room when guests were over, for example. She also had to sit at home when her mother went to family gatherings. Skye's mom started to yell at her, too... Eventually, though, her mother just vanished. Just like she had claimed Skye's father did. The girl was left home, all alone for a week. That is, until the police showed up. Apparently, mom had died. She was found floating down the stream of a canal. Skye was 15, then. The police got back in contact with her dad. She was sent to him. London was a completely different place compared to Wishaw. It was more densely packed. Dad's place was different, too. It wasn't some run-down apartment full of cigarette smoke. It was actually a pretty cozy and comfortable three-story building, more luxurious than even most of the houses surrounding it. Apparently, he had a pretty well-paying and decently successful office job. Her dad wasn't really like what her mother had told Skye. More awkward than he was scary. Skye still didn't like him, though. She thought he'd left her mom to rot, that he was the reason she'd become the way she did. Skye's life was different now, too. She didn't have a choice in the matter. All of the friends she made back in Wishaw vanished from her life, including the ones she'd tried to keep in contact with. Skye didn't know anyone in this new city and the people were a lot ruder, too. Back in her old town, she could still feel a sense of community from everyone. Even two years later, Skye still hadn't gotten used to the new environment. Everyone's accent was so weird. Completely different from hers. Skye doesn't talk to many people now. Her dad got her into a good school, but she doesn't like that either. Her mother had never given Skye a reason to dream, left the girl without ambition. Her grades aren't too good because she doesn't study enough. Not having many friends to help out didn't improve the situation. Nightmares about her mother probably didn't, either.
