Lilie watched Aaron leave, her left hand reaching up and adjusting her vest. She wanted to think that she was just taking Aaron's rejection too much to heart but she knew what it was. Getting confirmation from what Salem said rubbed her the wrong way, a previous fear threatening to resurface. She didn't get a chance to question Aaron any further, either, a lump forming in her throat. Master. [I]Master[/i]. It felt so wrong just to think about. But that was the entirety of the entire vampire-mage relationship, wasn't it?

Her thoughts seemed to be sliding down a slippery slope that she couldn't quite climb back up from. The kneeling, the way he hurried out, his apologetic nature--no, no, she was just jumping to conclusions. She had no reason to believe there was more to it. Her imagination was just getting the best of her, that was all. Except she didn't believe herself for a second because she knew vampires were jerks and bullies. One of them just chucked her across the arena and she was pretty sure that wasn't going to be the last time she got manhandled by a vampire. Or worse.

Letting out a sigh, Lilie shook her head at herself. If she was going to start having a panic attack about vampires again, then she should do it somewhere private. Maybe in the tub, her shoulder and hip hurt and it wasn't like she had anything better to do, anyway. 

She rubbed her eye with her free hand, peeking up as Cassandra approached her. [Color=00BBFF]"Yeah, Aine healed me up!"[/color] She replied. Right, silver lining, she got to experience actual life magic up close and personal. [Color=00BFFF]"Not the best second impression, or first for some people, but...it was definitely something."[/color] The last thing she wanted to do was worry anyone, but she couldn't help but scan the arena quickly. No Mariette. Despite leaving off on an awkward note, she thought the woman would have done or said something.

[Color=00BFFF]"So, um, you obviously know how class went for me, how about you?"[/color] Lllie gave Cassandra her full attention.
