One hand moved to hold onto Kiera as a guide again, while the other clutched her new spellbook to her chest. Hearing the explanations between the campers, Jade nodded along as she wondered why her mother had chosen now to claim her. She wanted to read more of the Spell Book, but she was wary of what kinds of spells might be in there. As such, it might be better if she read it on her own later, at the cabin she would be assigned. Maybe by then her father would have arrived with the stuff she had packed. Then another seemed to be claimed, by Aphrodite this time. Everything was happening so quickly, that she was having a bit of trouble processing it all. So everybody in this group was just now being claimed, back to back? They were all children of these ancient Greek Gods yet the gods couldn't seem to be bothered with them until they arrived at this camp. It all seemed so strange to her, but at the same time it was all comforting and familiar. She shook her head in confusion and gripped Kiera a bit more tightly for a second, wanting some feeling of familiarity.
