*Waking up, I find a white haired boy sitting across the table from me smiling as he eats the cooked Tv dinner I had left in the microwave before falling asleep. As I sit up and stretch, he notices that I'm awake and stops eating just long enough to speak.* ???: Morning aunty Flickie! - *Smiles.* Morning Kate. How was your first day of school? Kate: *Stops eating again.* It was cool! There were so many kids in my class and some of the buildings were huuuuge! *Motions his arms wide and spread out.* The adults looked tiny next to them! - *Laughs as I get up and grab an apple from the fridge.* I'm glad to hear you enjoyed it. I take it you've already found your favorite classes? Kate: *Beams at the mention and nods.* Uh huh! I really liked PE and... ummm .. oh yea, Art! The other kids couldn't tag me in dodgeball, and all of the different colored paints are so fun to use! I wanna paint a picture of mommy's house someday. - *Takes a bite out the apple and walks over to Kate, ruffling his hair.* I take it you still hate math? Kate: *Sticks his tongue out, and scrunching up his face.* Yea. I hate how I'll have to keep track of all those numbers. Writing is easier then that. - Well adults use numbers daily, so don't give up on them just yet. Kate: *Groans.* Why do adults have to have all these weird and complex things like numbers and math? - Because without them we wouldn't be able to to take care of little tykes like you. Now if you hurry up and finish eating, I'll be able to give you a piece of candy before dropping you off at your mother's. Kate: *Goes back to eating, finishing what was left of the Tv dinner in short time.* Done! - *Tosses him a tootsie pop.* Good job! Are you ready? Kate: *Nods and gets off of the chair, taking Flicker's hand.* Yup. Then off we go. *A portal opens up and we dissappear from my base.*
