Flame Brooks Flame chose to ignore Chieko calling Ashton a villain, although the latter was a rival. Instead, with another "Goa!", he put up a wall of fire behind the Demon Beasts' rears in order to cut off their line of retreat as well as obscure the view of any observers, hostile and allegedly friendly. Two more fireballs aimed at the Wolves themselves later, and Flame thought he'd bought enough time to say to Aerith and Chieko once more, "Here's a brief primer of the situation - The Cultists don't follow the actual Witches. Instead, they artificially made their own so they can have something to Worship." He rolled away from the Wolves' next attack, then said to Chieko alone after buying more time by launching fireballs at the wolves, "If they made an Artificial Witch of Envy, we're going to need a Sword Saint, a Sage, and a Dragon. The Murderer is already filling the Sword Saint slot - Long story - so we'll have to discuss who gets to be the Sage and the Dragon!" Ashton Andrews Ashton nodded, satisfied that Belrigger wasn't going to die any time soon, and made his way out of the abandoned warehouse complex... Only to see that the Witch Cultists had already entered the Noble Quarter, mixed with a scattering of Demi-Human bandits, all of who had already had killed their share of innocent people. The boy, still in his 'ideal form', gnashed his teeth and said to Belrigger, "It seems the moment of truth has arrived sooner than we thought - Let's cut through these people like a scythe through wheat!" And with a loud, "Jiwald!", Ashton charged at the nearest band of invaders, hoping, no, knowing, that Belrigger will be behind him and that he'd give the order for his troops to move out and support the boy in his assault on the Witch Cult. Nevertheless, Ashton felt a tinge of... Dissonance as he cut the throat of the first person he was deliberately trying to kill permanently. As the Cultist fell, followed by a Demi-Human bandit who ended up in the wrong way of his next cut, the boy put up a wall between himself and his regrets - The latter had no place in this fight. Instead, he let the adrenaline flow through him as he hewed and cut, taking a moment to gesture to Belrigger to follow him as he made his way to the same place the largest forces of cultists were advancing towards - A random Noble's estate! Suffice it to say that even if Cultists weren't heading there, Ashton would still be going to that place as it looked secure enough, and then await Flame's coming...
