@Crusader Lord Howdy! Multi-classes can happen, but they’re very rare and almost are never more than two classes. Also, that’s certainly possible! It would probably be more likely that they learned magic first and then Awakened though.

Also, no discord at the moment, though depending on if you guys want one I can totally make one.

@SamaraJayne96 Everything looks good with Atlas, just one question on Azura, does her control of the elements require runes/materials as well and how extensive is her control over them? Being able to control multiple elements is generally seen as impressive, though not necessarily impossible.

@DrowsyPangolin Many thanks for the answers! :D

I have another question or two as well, ah, if that is acceptable:

1. What is the culture, and specifically the government, of Isila like? Is it like a "Pharaoh and his court of officials" sort of deal beyond the God-Kind ruling absolute?

2. Does the god king take concubines or such, or is he similar to what Pharaohs did in marry siblings and such?

Just some minor curiosities, yes. Totally not a checking out of ideas as i ponder joining or not, yes.

>_>

@ERode I swear, i am not here to get a horror into a bikini again. Scout's honor!

Legitimately, though, just asking questions here is all. :)

@DrowsyPangolin Er, sorry. ^^;

I suppose a better question than my other stuff, er, would be: "could someone be the child of a concubine off the God-King of Isila?"

@Crusader Lord Okey doke, sorry for the delay.

So:

1: So Isila is a very very old civilization, and as such they have a lot of ancient traditions. Magic is a part of everyday life, and is practically a religion to most people. This reverence for magic is important, because it's also tied very closely to the government. The God-King is said to have ruled for thousands of years, and while this isn't explicitly true, it also isn't entirely untrue. More or less, every God-King from the very first one to the present has ruled until they grew too old, and then passed their memory (literally, its sort of a mind-meld type of situation) to an heir that they have chosen and groomed. So essentially, the current God-King had his own personality fused with the consciousnesses of hundreds of previous God-Kings, making him effectively one of the oldest beings in existence, and cements him as an absolute ruler and religious figurehead in Isila. That being the case, however, even he can't be everywhere at once, especially since Isila is massive. So the more effectively rule, he has ministers (which he also chooses) handle basic governance throughout the provinces.

2: We're talking about hundreds of concubines. Just so many.

Your character could totally be a children of one of his concubines! Even though there are hundreds of them, they're looked at by the public with a great deal of reverence (think ancient Mesopotamia). Typically, this extends to their children as well. Sometimes the God-King picks one of his children to be his heir, though not every time.

Nope, the current God-King is a dude, but historically there have been several non-dude God-Kings.

Yeah, I meant the open carry. I mean just because you can summon a death machine doesn't mean you walk around with it all day.
