[color=wheat]“Yeah,”[/color] Aedre agreed, her voice soft. Amber was right that she should look past her loss and focus on the benefits of the situation, but an ugly feeling weighed down on her all the same. Still, she kept up a vague smile as she followed Amber and her Pokemon back to the Pokemon Center, healing her Pokemon and releasing Little when she’d done so.

[color=wheat]“Hey, Little. You feeling better?”[/color] 

In response, Little fluttered onto her shoulder, chirping and ruffling his feathers.

Aedre smiled, then turned around when there came a crashing sound. It seemed Larimar had simply knocked over a trash can, but a statement from Amber informed her that it was more than that. 

[color=wheat]“Congratulations! That’s one more useful move in your arsenal,”[/color] Aedre said, grinning. It was a bit easier to be positive now that their battle was physically and mentally behind them, and she chose to focus on that. The momentary distraction of her thoughts, however, prevented her from noticing the growing puddle until Amber had slipped in it.

[color=wheat]“Oh! Are you alright?”[/color] she asked, eyes wide as she looked to the source of the orange liquid. Amber was quicker on the uptake, recognizing the scene to be a training session as Aedre herself pondered how much work would go into cleaning the mess up. Orange juice was sticky, pulpy, and utterly… messy.

[color=wheat]“Of course! It’d be a privilege to watch a Scyther as skilled as yours,”[/color] she said, smiling when she heard Amber's suggestion. [color=wheat]“And, if you don’t mind, I’d like to take some notes while watching too! Blades are blades, and notes could be helpful for when I’m training Dee, my Honedge.”[/color]
