Appearance:
A creature of intimidating and menacing structure, it has been difficult for any scientist to compare the Grand King to any living creature on Earth. The monster possesses a semi-humanoid bodily structure, consisting of a torso, neck, head, and arms. Through a degree of study, researchers concluded that this beast is in fact, male. However, this has been continuously challenged and thus, the creature is often referred to as both “him” and “it”.

His skin which resembles the appearance of hardened stone, is capable of withstanding immense trauma and force. It has been able to take repeated blows from missiles and other weapons alike and came out unharmed. Massive spikes, each as strong as its skin, can be seen protruding from just about every part of his body. The most visible ones are likely the two that extends out from the creature’s shoulders and arching forward. It’s believed that they serve as a form of deterrent against the creature’s enemies. Their durable build and sharpness allows the creature to use them to impale its enemies if they stray too close.

Like the creature’s body, its arms seemed to be encased in what’s believed to be armor created from its own skin. It serves a purpose similar to that of a knight’s gauntlet, as it both protects the creature but also can act as a reinforced weapon. Spikes pointing outwards of his arms also allows the creature to use his arms as weapons of their arm rather than solely for defensive capabilities.

Two large horns can be seen projecting out of the King’s head, which resembled that of a hollow animal skull. Like the rest of his body, the creature’s head is encased in its own protective armor like that of a helmet and acts as a secondary skull. Its pair of crimson red eyes can be seen hidden beneath, protected by its secondary skull. Massive armor plates covered the beast’s torso and back regions, which is believed to be its most defended area. Two oval like white gems can be seen located on its chest, although it’s still a mystery as to their purpose.

As the Grand King doesn’t possess any legs, its weight and movement is aided by a long and thick tail directly connected to its torso. Armored plates similar to those on his torso, also carpeted the tail, providing it with strong durability against trauma of all forms. Due to its length and many protruding spikes, the King could also use his tale as a weapon to strike at its enemies.

Mediterranean Sea- Found and contained within Outpost 26, located somewhere in between the Italian and French Alps.

Abilities:
Armored Skin: The Grand King’s entire body is encased in a skin similar to that of armored plates. It serves as its ultimate defense, being capable of withstanding traumatic pressure, trauma, and even temperatures.
Electricity: After years of research, scientists have discovered that the creature is capable of conducting electricity through the many spikes that covered its body. Spots such as its horns and arms appeared to be its primary area in such usage. They infer that it’s likely for defensive purposes alone as the creature doesn’t seem to be able to protect it in attacks.
Plasma Rays: Through a concentrated source from its mouth, the creature is capable of firing a devastating blast of plasma capable of annihilating through multiple layers of reinforced steel.
Resistance: To the surprise of the researchers, they discovered that the creature appeared to possess a degree of resistance towards not only heat and cold, but also external substances such as venom and toxins.
Intelligence: Scientists have concluded that this creature possesses a degree of intelligence in contrast to that of other monsters. While said intellect is still believed to be inferior to humans, it’s believed that Arminlach is capable of strategizing and communicate constructively.
Regeneration: During the captivity of the beast, scientists noticed that one of its horns, which had been cut off sometime in the process, had grown back days into its captivity. While they never fully tested such abilities on other parts of its body, they believe that such regenerative abilities can be applied to most parts.
Earth Manipulation: Through the use of its mind, the creature is able to moderately manipulate the earth/ground elements. It can shape its surroundings and use them in battle if needs be. However, due to its still beastly mind, the creature cannot manipulate past the limits of its intelligence.

Weaknesses:
Head: While the majority of the beast’s body appeared to be covered in defensive armor, the regions above its torso seemed to be the most unprotected. It’s believed that the creature will do anything to defend its cranium region, including sacrificing other parts of its body to do so.
Slowness: Due to the creature’s sheer size and the weight of its armored body, it moves at a very slow pace and can be easily outmaneuvered by a more agile entity such as a plane.
Sunlight: As the creature doesn’t need food or water to survive, it obtains the majority of its energy from the sun similar to that of photosynthesis. Due to its sheer size, it often takes a great deal of sunlight to satisfy its needs for energy. However, once it finishes stocking up the energy, the creature can go many days without needing to again. If needed, it could enter into a state similar to hibernation in which it sleeps for an unspecified amount of time to conserve energy.
Tail: The tail is perhaps one of the most vital parts in maintaining the King’s everyday functions. It helps to balance its body’s weight and allows it to move through terrain of all form. Damage or cut it and one could disrupt its movements. Aside from its head, the tail is perhaps the second largest weakness this creature possesses.

Personality:

Through years of TERRA lead studies, researchers have concluded that the creature known as the Titanus Devourer possesses a mind capable of constructive thoughts. Despite that, it appears that the creature’s primal instincts compels it to destroy. Regardless of its lack of need for material food, the monster’s instincts causes it to still seek out prey. It feeds with merciless intent, snatching victims up with its hands and tail to be devoured whole. It is extremely territorial and often turns to direct aggression to deter trespassers.

History:

Records of the Titanus Devourer could be traced back to Ancient Rome. Roman texts shown that many Romans believed the creature to be a creation or even a messenger of Neptune. It revealed that Romans sailors would often stop in the middle of their journeys across the Mediterranean to present sacrifices to the creature. Livestock was often the primary choice and are dumped alive in numerous numbers into the sea.

The Roman text also stated that the people believed that the creature is responsible for all the flood and tsunami disasters that targeted Rome. Whenever there’s a major flood, they take it as that the creature had been enraged and would immediately conduct ritualistic sacrifices by the cliffs or shores to appease the beast. Interesting enough, while there had been numerous tales of the creation, there had been very few records of its appearance or personality. This lead scientists to speculate the Devourer had likely spent most of its time in the deep ocean and rising only to the surface to acquire sunlight.

Records of the Devourer had faded almost completely by the time of the Byzantine Era of Eastern Rome. It wasn’t until 1984 that underwater drilling awakened this terrifying beast. It had appeared that for centuries, the creature had laid dormant deep within the Mediterranean in some form of hibernating state. The discovery of the monstrosity shocked the entire world as many feared for what may happen if it was to arrive inland. Fortunately for all, a united effort by the European powers and the U.S. managed to delay the creature’s advance long enough to where it had exhausted its rage from being prematurely awakened. At a classified location deep within the Alps, the creature returned into its hibernating state. With world aid, the French moved the creature into an underground facility named “Outpost 26”. There, the creature would be studied in hopes of discovering its secrets.

Less than 4 years after its containment, the creature awoken to pure rage. It was then that scientists discovered its need for sunlight. But due to the risk of exposing the beast to the outside, the researchers created artificial lights that managed to satisfy the creature’s needs for the sun. For the next few decades, scientists from all around would travel deep into the Alps to study this dangerous but magnificent creature.
