We are those that never found a home, a restless soul in search of a welcoming arm. We are the children of concubines, of prostitutes, and of those that once had no voice. We are the herder, master of beasts and hunting. We are war leaders, onslaught comes from our names. Our campaign will never end, but your life will end today. But, in the case of the Tarun, there are a handful of myths about them. To the Jalwarudi and their seemingly endless herds of cattle, the Tarun existed because of the God of Greed jealousy of their wealth. So, in every ten years or so, the Tarun and their endless campaign would march southward to enslave towns, slaughter those that stand against, and plundered all remains. To the Talomacs and their newly established cities on the shore of the Shackling Sea, the Tarun represented the stupidity of those that are ignorance when taking power. These inhabitants came to Derahur, the first establishment of the Talomacs on the Shackling Seas, only to ransack it. They destroyed goods. They killed slaves who could have sold for hundred if not thousands. Beauty in these barbarians' eyes are meaningless when comparing to the foods and bronze tools that the Talomacs carried with them. It took the Talomacs on these shores eight years just to recover from the Derahur incident. To whisper the word "Derahur" into these Talomacs ears mean provoking their shamefulness. And comparing one to the Tarun means wastefulness and incompetence beyond redemption. To the Sarsinid themselves, the Tarun is a hard bone to chew. On the average, the Tarun horses’ dexterity and endurance are better at long range, enabling them to march for a long duration of time. Moreover, their population compose of multiple ethnic groups that they have acquired from their endless march allowed for a large number of manpower in reserves. Furthermore, the Roaching Storm, a name that most Sarsinid tribes had come to calling for a particular group of Tarun’s Calvary, and the madness they possess is like an arrow about to launch.
