[@Renny] First impression is he's a bit overpowered, but since the Crown of Pride is meant to be stronger on average I'll tweak his power up ability to be short-duration, like a minute of the buff before he needs to rest and wait.

Also tweaking that AoE explosion to be a massive-radius debuff rather than an explosion. All enemies hit by it are severely weakened for several minutes and can't move. Ethereals are more of this buff/debuff/distract/confuse/etc. type rather than direct damage.

His beam can stay.

Gonna nix on the mind control of humans. I'll say he can influence them like a sort of subliminal messaging and they have a high chance of doing what he suggests, but it's not perfect mind control.

Since all his skills are high-energy/should be high-energy, I don't expect to see him use very many of them if any during a fight aside from his buff skill. I'll impose that none of his abilities can be used concurrently to even him out a bit.
