Her energy is best described as sunshine. Its warm and bright rays will bring not only comfort but joy as well. Her passion is like a shooting star, fantastic at first, soaring through the night sky with such brilliance. Then before you know it, its light is extinguished. She is the type of person who loves and lives freely. Sage has a huge heart that represents her strength as well as her downfall. You see, "the flame that burns twice as bright only burns for half as long." Even though most would envy her positive shine, the optimism she radiates does come at a price. There is always a crash after she lets her emotions soar to great heights. In which she crumples into herself, sucked into dark thoughts that she has many difficulties escaping. Even little cinnamon rolls suffer from anxiety and depression.
Short Biography
Sage was only four years old when her parents perished in an accidental house fire. The only reason she survived was that her grandmother had taken her for an outing that very same day. Her grandmother Willow was a very peaceful woman. The old woman lived in a small town not too far from Emerald City. In fact, she lived near Crater Lake Oregon so technically they were in the same state. The townsfolk knew Willow as the "local witch". A common misconception on their part. While Willow did believe in more spiritual practices, her main focus was on political affairs and maintaining world peace. During the Vietnam War, she would chant alongside Hippie brethren and "fight the cause". Her unique personality is quite possibly the reason Sage is the way she is. Another odd hobby of hers includes things of a more metaphysical nature. With skills inherited from her grandmother, Sage finds the practice of divination to be quite fascinating. While she excels at reading tarot cards she still has a lot to learn about palmistry and scrying. As a hippie at heart, it was only natural for her to adapt to the "old ways" so quickly.
School
Sage had moved to the Emerald City for two reasons. One, that it reminded her of the "Wizard of Oz." And two, she had recently been accepted at Moore University to pursue her degree in art sciences. Sage had always been extremely creative. At a young age, she proceeded to master various art forms such as; sculpting, pottery, painting, sketching, photography, and even handy things like sewing. One of her many dreams was to live simply as an artist and sustain a survivable income.
Occupation
Because she is starting out on her own as an artist, it was only logical for her to begin a side career as a way of income. Although her grandmother had already paid towards her schooling as well as where she would be staying, it was Sage's job to make sure she had a part-time job to go towards food and pocket money. As a free spirit, Sage was so thankful to have been hired on as one of the gardeners for Canis Major. In addition to her love of art, animals, and odd things; she also was a huge fan of nature. While she prefers countryside settings, it would be much easier to be within walking distance of everything.
