In general, it barely changes, save for the addition of a slightly larger jumper when it comes to the winter seasons. With only slightly longer hair than shoulder length, she typically leaves it down and untied, unless engaging in cooking or similar, when it easily falls into the activity.[/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent]While not the most experienced Crown, Astrid has a decent amount of time and notches on her belt. Combat has tested her mettle, and while her mentor was at one time possessive and defensive, they ran Astrid through the ropes. This training led to her nigh limitless confidence, near suicidally so, if only her wisdom could match it. Astrid doesn't fear Elegies, nor the combat that comes with being Crowned, thanks to the sheer faith placed in both her skills and herself. The faith is not misplaced, as the girl is remarkably strong, however confidence itself grows into complacency. It doesn't help that world wise is not a descriptor that could be used for Astrid - she's naive, and though a powerhouse in her own right, easily manipulated by those smarter than herself.

At one time, Astrid was a meek and shy girl. Her training, and subsequent Crowning, brought about the much more confident persona that she portrays through day to day life, though she has still yet to completely grow out of that anxious little girl. With power at her back, Astrid understands that she can handle anything that comes her way. And yet, when in human form, she fears to be without it. Her Crown is her psychological shield against this fear, that one day her abilities will fail her. This fear is kept repressed as best as possible, but manifests in an anxiety that renders Astrid into her Crowned form for the majority of her time around the city.[/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent]A child of Bloomfield Bay, and one of two daughters under the parentage of Elisabeth and Michael Rivers. Separated by six years, Kyra Rivers adopted the mantle of doting older sister to her younger counterpart, and over the courses of their time together, built a stable bond that could stand the test of time. Astrid longed for Kyra to return from school in the beginning, and later the chances to play when the day came to close. And regardless of the strain adolescence put on Kyra's end of the relationship, they always returned to each other in the end.

At Astrid's own rise to being a teenager, though, the relationship appeared to end. Kyra spent less time around the house, even less with her sister, and instead spent it out around the city. Though Astrid attempted to reconcile the issue, she was always met with the same, indecisive responses and uncertain replies from her sister, while days would pass without Kyra returning to the household. Until one day Kyra came home, brutally injured and unable to remain conscious. Doctors and their parents chalked the issue up to an assault while passing through the "wrong end of the city", though Astrid pressed for the truth more fervently in response. And finally did the girl give up her secrets, that her life had turned to destroying monstrous beings as the Crown of Sunrise.

Astrid was unwilling to allow her sister to endanger herself any further. When confronted with the idea that Kyra had no choice, she pushed to be taken on as Kyra's protege, so that never again might she be so gravely wounded. Though equally as unwilling to put her only sister through the same danger as she experienced, Astrid's unrelenting pursuit left Kyra with little other choice. Astrid was taken on, and when Kyra wasn't battling Elegies, she was training her sister the very skill that she herself employed, until the day came that Astrid would be Crowned herself, and could join in on the fight.

But the day never came. And then, neither did Kyra - vanished and presumed dead. Astrid was left at sixteen, a forged yet untempered blade. It wasn't for another two years and the same length of grief and family counselling before Astrid heard The Whisper that Kyra had talked about. It was two years too late, she thought, but answered the summons anyway. The training her sister had ingrained combined with the newfound power she developed as the Crown of Damocles made short work of the Elegy that lay in wait at the end of song, and Astrid left, intent on carrying on Kyra's work for until her own life ended. Though the name of her Crown is only a single sword, she wields two into combat - one radiant, and one shadow. In pursuit of sheer strength, the Crown of Damocles disregards all notions of defence and assistance to allies. It is a single minded machine of war, and its vast single target destructive capabilities show as such.[/indent][/indent]

[*] [b][colour=Orange]PARAGON:[/colour][/b] [i]High Energy[/i] - A Personal Enhancement skill, focusing Magical Energy into her own body, drastically improving agility and movement speed for the period of its duration like a lightning overcharge. Though the ability for short durations is itself low in energy usage, prolonged activation, for instance to traverse somewhat large distances, drains energy at a rapid rate.
[*] [b][colour=Orange]SWORDFALL:[/colour][/b] [i]???[/i] - Though simply referred to as [i]"Swordfall"[/i] the skill bears the full name of [i]"The Forms of Damocles Fall"[/i], and are a series of combat techniques specifically ingrained into the act of wielding the swords of the Crown. They are seven in total, ranging from single target strikes, to Area of Effect slashes designed to kill multiple close range opponents, to a defensive stance designed to counter incoming attacks. The forms are tailored to satisfy each others criteria, and as such the ending of one form can easily be transitioned into the beginning of another, allowing for rapid, multi-hit combos. Each form also has a two variant systems, one of which takes into consideration the increased range from [colour=Orange]<<SUNDER>>[/colour], while the other the possibility of using only a single sword. The core skills the Crown of Damocles uses are listed below, with more to be added as they are used in combat.

It begins with a thrust to the head or chest, followed by a series of incredibly quick attacks to the opponents guard. It finishes with a feint strike transitioned into a heavy, horizontal swing to break defence, followed by an instantaneous thrust into the abdomen.
[*] [i][colour=Orange]FOURTH FORM - AEGIS:[/colour][/i] The Swordfall's only defensive countermeasure, and the only type of shield the Crown of Damocles wields. It is a form focused implicitly on counters and parries, usually combined with [colour=Orange]<<PARAGON>>[/colour] to respond quickly. The stance is best paired with the Second Form by forcing the opponents retreat when unable to break the Aegis, allowing quick transition into the brutal strikes the Second Form offers.

The essence of the Sword of Damocles, the longer the battle prolongs without an opponent or herself dying, the greater the power behind her blows and abilities. An accumulation of danger which ceases only at the loss of life, until eventually, the opponent will have no strength left to spare, and the sword will fall, ending the battle deftly and instantaneously. The skill takes about six minutes to charge, but only acts on a single opponent engaged at any one time; the accumulation gradually increases the Crown of Damocles' powers until they overflow beyond that which the enemy can handle, but once that specific target is defeated, the skill resets.
