Always politically correct and weaving her sentences carefully, her peaceful attitude and elegance, to not mention her prim and proper appearance, have earned her the nickname of an angel by many.

However, that's only what she's learned to show others and what she learned to become in order for the others to find solace within her arms. In truth, having been born in a family of undertakers has led her to face the inevitability of death with a casuality that's often unsettling. She's aware that she's lived a much different life than others and as such she rarely speaks about herself, for the sake of not dampening the mood of a situation. Nevertheless, it's true that the way she handles herself is merely a façade she has used in public for as long as she remembers, and her true self blossoms when facing the Elegies.

Underneath that heavenly mask one can find an empty husk of a person, someone who sees everything as futile and merely moves forward because it is what she has to do. Whilst she never backs down on what she has to do, it isn't out of bravery or courage and rather because she's always done what others haven't had the guts to do so. Her artificial warmth is soon discovered to be just that by her fellow Crowns and a complete lack of purpose is what's left beneath. Because, at the end of the day, Lorelai is a woman who counts every day as just another step towards her inevitable demise, a woman who's so fundamentally wrong that she holds no sense of self and, as such, she has nothing to strive for.[/indent][/indent][/indent]

[indent][indent][indent]One'd believe that someone with such a peculiar background like Lorelai would have an interesting story to tell about her life, but they'd be wrong in this case. As abnormal as her childhood was, in the end it was only natural that it'd develop like this. During her infant years, her parents made it no secret to her that people died in all sorts of ways, and they raised her in preparation for her upcoming tasks in the van Buren funerary home.

Whilst she was in kindergarten, she had already seen three bodies in her dad's office, being prepared for their own ceremonies. In elementary, her classmates raised a couple of eyebrows at how she likened the experience of dressing up a Ken doll with her dad's job. During her years of high-school, she herself had to prepare the family members of a bit more than a dozen members of the faculty, including a teacher who had passed away during her sleep. She took their cold, dead bodies, cleaned them with the same hands she used to greet her friends and helped them into their best suits and dresses for the funerals she also had to attend.

Her temper grew cold and strong as steel, and it was that which led her to accept so readily her fate as the Crown of Grief two years ago, and the words that retired Crown spoke to her once she had been approached after Lorelai had resigned herself to her fate. And, from then until now, she practiced and honed her skills, working either alone or with other Crowns, veterans or not. She learned how to support and how to attack with the same methodical tranquility that she had when her father taught her how to deal with the maggots festering within someone's loved one.

After all, she was wrong and broken from the very start. Death would inevitably arrive for everyone, it just happened that it'd arrive much sooner for her.[/indent][/indent][/indent]

Carrying a colossal, wicked cleaver with a strength unbecoming of her frame, Lorelai uses it merely to carry her true weapon: the guillotine setup within the sword's frame. [/indent][/indent]

However, the sad reality of those deceased cannot be averted, and so one must eventually make due with these delusions. Other Crowns will be able to fight for a while longer as if they were in their peak conditions, wounds and energy reserves notwithstanding, but they'll be doubly exhausted once the effect of this steroid finishes.
[*] [b]GROUNDED BACK TO EARTH:[/b] AoE, Debuff. Eventually, one must come down from their hopeful cloud and realize how the situation truly is from now on. Ethereal ropes erupt from the ground to bind Lorelai's enemies and pull them to the ground. If these enemies have a neck, these binds will target it first.
[*] [b]NOW, YOU MUST MOVE ON:[/b] High-Energy. A single, weakened target is elected by Lorelai to pass on, and a fascimile of them is manifested with their neck on the guillotine. After five seconds, the blade is let loose and the duplicate is beheaded, which deals incredibly high damage to that single being.
