People are dangerous. Capes are especially dangerous. Villains are potentially dangerous, but heroes will always make themselves a danger if you give them the chance. Change is dangerous; this Final Guard thing is change for the heroes. Further research required to know the big picture, but investigating dangers is dangerous, Audrie's thoughts buzzed as she walked down the rundown street, hands in the pockets of her hoodie, hood up, eyes on the sidewalk. Normally she would mind her own business, but she had run out of scrap for tinkering again. Safety by the pound. She vaguely knew that everything she did was illegal, but dumpster diving had been the kind of thing you didn't want cops seeing even before the world ended. She was enveloped in that faint static feeling of her power, that coiled danger that --unlike every other danger, and she knew plenty of different kinds-- felt good and powerful and her's, and she could imagine what it must have looked like as she smeared or pixelated and faded out. She looked to the other end of the alley, thinking about how to get closer. The tank that shoots first wins because most hits are lethal. Need to take the lead on information.
