[@Sep] Just to put it out there, there is a wrecked Metal Sonic in the debris if Tarkin is looking for clues. Do bare in mind, Metal Sonics are notoriously aggressive, regardless of how badly damaged they are, so if they do reactivate it, first thing it's going to do is try to kill everyone in the room, before making its escape.
