Thank you! And yes, human/demon hybrids exist. Once I get the information of the different kinds of demon classifications up, I'll include some information on hybrids as well. The jist of it is that a few (humanoid) type demons can reproduce with humans, and of course, hybrids are born. They inherit some traits from their demonic parent (traits that can vary depending on what kind of demon their parent was), but they are mortal and are much more vulnerable than a true demon would be. 

Society's take on them varies, but the general feeling towards them is usually negative. With humans viewing them as 'other' and demons seeing them as not worth their time. Of course there are exceptions to this rule (on both sides), but they're definitely ostracized more often than not.

The current idea I'm thinking of for a starting point is on the cusp of war. The current human government is more progressive and willing to speak to the demons on more amicable terms. Within the human ranks, however, there's a fairly influential political movement called Exo that views humans as superior to demons. I'm thinking that at/near the beginning of our RP the human government is looking to make contact with some of the more influential demons (as demonic society is mostly anarchic), to discuss a revision of the peace treaty between the two races. Exo, hearing word of this, is looking to sabotage the mission, and escalate the situation to full-scale war. 

Though, of course, suggestions and alterations are welcome. I'd love to hear back from you guys.
