I mean, these are people who committed murder and all kinds of nasty crimes. Those who surrender are definitely being taken prisoner, Fanilly will absolutely enforce that the knights don't kill surrendered prisoners and they need to go through the proper legal processes, but, well... the kingdom's going to execute them.
