Paranormal: scold is the grinning man, or at least the only one he has seen, he has the ability to bring must people to mass hysteria or worse, the most powerful was causing a man to go insane to the point that he tried to kill a man because he thought he was a lizard king (only once) but only with his full smile.
Background: coming the sewer system, something about how scold came out was wrong, his skin seemed to be the wrong color, his ears and nose were not proportional, and his smile seemed to look like he was evil. Being large in stature and growing, scold soon took to the forest to look for food, but traveled through towns were he liked to look at people.
