Yes, you, the one who clicked onto the page! I won't bore you with the pretentious quotes from stuffy old dead dudes—it's much more fun to be pretentious in my own ways. I propose a simple question: ever joined one of those roleplays which turned out to be entirely dependent on character interaction, almost like a plot was an afterthought? Do you grow tired of aimless sandboxes with no direction? Then welcome to a world that is as much a sandbox as a litter tray is an appropriate toilet for a human. Sure, you could have a nice shite in your kitty litter, but why would you want to? In simpler terms, I wish to create a roleplay where "conclusion" is not a taboo term. I want to take players on a journey where they are given the freedom and flexibility to make decisions that alter the course of the roleplay, yet remain moving towards a set goal. Don't settle for making your own fun out of glue and matchsticks. Fully collaborate with others to build on an existing framework to extract the richest amount of fun and satisfaction. The subject, of course, will be superpowers and everything that comes with them. Set in a small town, the catalyst for the roleplay is a high school reunion, some 7 years after graduation, wherein certain events lead to our group of untimely people gaining powers. From there, the narrative can branch off into several points. It's all about bouncing ideas back and forth and finding what works for us in the OOC, and the characters in the IC. A few more details:
■ I'm looking for a group of five; six at a push. If that amount of people shows interest (I can only hope they do), don't let it discourage you, as: ■ No first come first serve. No reservations. I want to see you hunger games this shit. (On a serious note: I'm not elitist. It will be a selective process, but you won't get rejected for slight mistakes like spelling, grammar, etc.) ■ I am looking for a co-GM. Express your interest in the position with a simple sentence and I will approach you if I feel you are the right fit. ■ As I want a focus on collaboration, there won't be a Discord of any kind, unless I know for certain everyone has access to it and can use it sufficiently.
