[@Vertigo] If it's a [i]kick[/i] from a standing position, I think I'd like a Gumption check. If he was going to do a running charge, I feel like Athletics would be a better fit.

Lol you can make a Thought check if you [i]want[/i], but it's  up to you! Playing it off how you did is pretty good. :)
