Of course, when April had approached the group, she offered her a warm smile and complimented her own costume in return. But the young woman left almost as soon as Julie had stalked off; Chanel had turned her head in just enough time to see her red-headed best friend partaking in one of the wettest, most disgusting kisses she'd ever had the displeasure of seeing. 

Nearly everyone in King's knew that Joshua was nothing but another dumb football player who had more muscles than he did brains, so it took a few moments of deep thought for Chanel to figure out why Julie would ever put her lips on such a specimen. And in [i]public[/i], too. But then Chanel spotted Aurelio, and noticed the way he was looking in Julie's direction just as she was about to wave him over. That was when the wheels began to turn in her head, which eventually led to what most people call a "light-bulb moment."

Instead of saying anything about it, however, Chanel simply turned back to Aaliyah and downed the rest of her drink. [color=#D2652C]"See, I was gonna say that we should go find some more food,"[/color] she said with a sigh, [color=#D2652C]"But after seeing that... yeah, I think I've just lost my appetite."[/color] Chanel definitely planned on bringing up that moment whenever she got a chance to speak to Julie alone, but for now she figured that she'd much rather have a little bit of fun instead. 

After pouring herself another drink and taking a few large gulps, Chanel tapped both young women on their shoulders and motioned towards the crowd. [color=#D2652C]"What do you guys say?"[/color] She said as she sat her cup down and let a wide grin make its way to her face. [color=#D2652C]"Think we're drunk enough to dance, yet?"[/color]
