[indent]Valentina Marie has always been the kind of girl that parents warn their children about hanging around. She does have an artistic flair which has gained her great popularity in life, but has had a certain "I don't care" attitude ever since she was a child. Although she is known to be a likable young woman with a winning smile and a quick sense of humor, she also has very little respect for authority, is often dangerously careless, and is ultimately out to get but not to give. Valentina tends to operate on the principle of having a good time; a borderline Hedonist, she's a person who believes that the pursuit of pleasure is the most important thing in life, and will go to great lengths to get the things that she wants. She angers easy, especially when things don't go her way, and had resorted to violence in her past in order to deal with certain issues. Although she doesn't necessarily hit people anymore—at least, not outside of the ring—she does still have a short-temper and has to remove herself from the situation to avoid causing any trouble.

Despite her shortcomings, Valentina has proven to be an interesting individual; When she isn't being an aggressive bitch, she is actually a really cool person to befriend. She's usually a very nice and sociable person, and carries herself with a certain confidence. She'll make you laugh more than anyone else you know, and will go to Hell and back for the people that she considers to be her family and friends. She's also a very determined person, and will always follow through whenever she sets her mind on something.

[color=#6A92B5]Upbringing Synopsis[/color]
[indent]Valentina Castro spent the first eighteen years of her life living in a sketchy neighborhood in the Northside of Long Beach, California. She was raised by a Jamaican mother named Gabrielle who worked as a pharmacist, and a Puerto Rican father named Miguel who worked as a boxing coach; although they didn't bring in much money, they made just enough to pay bills and keep food on the table. Growing up, Tina was constantly getting into trouble, whether it was in school or around the city. She was only ten years old when she was first suspended from school after getting into a fight on the playground, and by the time she'd turned thirteen, she'd been brought home by the police multiple times after hanging around with local gang members. Worried for their daughter, Miguel and Gabrielle put Tina into boxing in an attempt to help her manage her anger issues and keep her occupied. And this worked... for a little while. Valentina eventually grew up to be a very disciplined, skilled boxer, and even won the state championship when she was sixteen. Her parents even thought that things were finally turning around for their daughter when the young woman was accepted into Woodbury university. Unfortunately, they were very wrong.

Rather than focus on her studies, Valentina spent the first couple of years of her college experience partying, drinking, and smoking. She quickly became the girl everyone went to whenever they needed someone to host their party or get on the mic and hype up the crowd. It didn't come as much of a shock to her family when Tina was placed on academic probation after her Sophomore year. It [i]did[/i] come as a surprise, however, when she managed to pull her GPA up in enough time to maintain her enrollment in the university. It was also around this time that Tina decided to switch her major to music production and grew interested in the music industry; after spending so much time on stage, she realized that she wanted it to be [i]her[/i] music that the people were jamming to.

It is now the Summer before Valentina's Senior year, and although she's still the avid party-goer that she was during her first few years of college, she's now putting a little more effort into perfecting her craft and finishing school with a decent GPA. She was planning on getting a Summer job at her father's gym before she received the invitation from Rachel; to say that she was excited to not have to spend the next few months surrounded by a bunch of sweaty men is an understatement.
