Her eyes are a pale green, and she dyed her hair pink recently when it was originally blonde. She often has accidents that lead to her needing bandages anywhere on her body, but most visibly on her face and hands. Neighborhood The City School Mountain View High School graduate. Occupation She works full time at Butterfield's Ice Cream as a server. Personality Emily’s most prominent trait is that she is persistent. She rarely ever loses hope, and she will keep trying at things for what seems like forever. She has always been outgoing and ready to meet new people and make new friends. She has a high frustration-tolerance, and has a considerably high tolerance of things like stupid questions, pointless activities, draining relationships, you name it. It’s difficult to annoy or upset her. Emily prefers to get along with people and it shows through her interactions with everyone. For better or for worse, she is quick to forgive and forget. Her favorite past-time is to listen to and entertain the perspectives of others. Negative things people say about her rarely ever get to her. Emily does whatever she finds most enjoyable, not caring for what others think she should do. She hovers around and tries many things out just to see what she likes. She isn't unaware of the evils of the world, but prefers to mentally set them aside so she doesn't stress over them. Short Bio Emily’s parents were never very fond of her. Her mother was constantly upset about the family’s financial situation (which was difficult), and her father was constantly working several jobs and barely home. Both of them blamed Emily’s birth for their misfortune, and it was clear to see. She used many different ways to distract her from her home life, some good and some bad. One of her favorites was just... leaving. Her parents seemed to not care if she was out late at night, no matter what she did. She soon learned that she could be gone for months at a time and come back to nothing changing. Her parents had never hurt her physically, but they have had multiple attempts at hurting her with words. Thankfully for her, nothing about what they said ever managed to truly reached her. Emily knew they didn't know anything about her, so all of their insults were either ignorant, petty, or just flat-out untrue statements about her. She never had much of an attachment to them anyways. Most of her time ended up being spent at a friend's house. One summer vacation, Emily had saved enough money from several part-time jobs, so she bought a 45-day pass from Amtrak and took off. She went across the country and back and made sure that she spent as much time as possible off the trains, just walking around. While she was out she would end up talking to a lot of people, and she came to enjoy making new friends and hearing new stories more and more over time. The trip made Emily realize new things about herself. Although at some points it did get rough, she didn't regret the experience one bit. This wasn't the only "vacation" she had, but it was her first after turning 18. She came back and had no idea what to do with herself. She rented a room in an apartment building with her friend. For now she lives happily and relatively carefree, in search for something to commit herself to.

Emily's best friend who is currently her roommate, Ann.
