if this is a bit much in any respect, tell me. i'd probably use my backup concept instead, since this character is ENTIRELY MAXIMUM IN EVERY

Mizushima Emi
16 Appearance: At 5' 2.6" tall, 118 pounds, and with an average build, there isn't much to write home about Emi's appearance. Were it not for her eccentricities dictating bits of her appearance, one would be able to see Emi as a normal and functional member of society. She isn't, though. She's never cut her hair once in her life, resulting in an extraordinarily long mop of hair that has to be tied in bizarre ways so that she can properly move. Besides her hair, another notable feature is that she doesn't possess a left leg. Usually, her construct takes the form of her leg which allows her to walk. When he isn't, Emi either uses crutches or uses a wheelchair. Personality: Emi is... special. She possesses the attention span of a gnat, the energy of a coke-addled mouse, the spiritual energy of a meme, and the humour of a 14 year old boy that has done nothing but eat sugar and watch funny video compilations. Whereas most other people are functional members of society, Emi is a hurricane of bad jokes and even worse ideas. Despite her obvious (and numerous) shortcomings as a respectable member of society, she still somehow manages to be entirely capable when it comes to what interests her. And the only thing that captivates the maniacal whims of Emi are the explosive fights between construct and monster. Background: Emi was born broken. It was a miracle she was alive, really. It was a perfect storm of disaster. She was born missing a leg, numerous organs, her left eye, and (as others like to say) various parts of her brain. The doctor who delivered the young Emi said that, even with their magic, it would be a miracle if Emi made it three years. The young Emi, even though she was a newborn that couldn't understand a single word, was determined to dunk on that doctor and prove him to be a fraud. Emi easily made it to three years old. Besides her entire "not walking" deal, she was a normal toddler. High energy, big ideas, and about as dumb as a three year old. Her parents loved her. However, as Emi grew up, they realized something rather important; Emi wasn't actually growing up. Sure, her body got bigger. Her brain didn't exactly share in the growth. While they expected a regular daughter, they got a little hellion of a girl that was unable to do anything for more than a few days at a time before getting bored and quitting. But in that hellstorm of trying to find jobs and career paths that would interest the young Emi, a small glimmer of hope was laid to her parents: battle. The tales of constructs fighting against construct to reclaim Japan had enthralled Emi. She wanted to destroy and demolish too! Wait, no. She wanted to demolish the constructs that threatened humanity. Eventually, Emi got the opportunity to create her own construct. Channeling into that conduit, Emi bestowed upon it her everything. Her desires, her dreams, her magic had all flowed deep into the shell. Long story short, she got a kick-ass best friend that would put up with her antics, help her beat up evil, and literally be someone that would give a leg up on her competition. And she entered Yoake with the intent of becoming the queen of beating up constructs. Were it not for her perfect scores in the practical portions of the entrance exams, she would have never been accepted. Magic: Emi's magic ability is to create life. More accurately, it's to create living cells. She's not exactly good at it, either. Even though she can technically create muscle, bone, and more, they are all highly unstable. The amount that she can make isn't too impressive, either. At most, she can create a very poorly sculpted hand that disintegrates after a few minutes. An ever changing amalgamation of organs and muscle, Viscera's appearance is constantly changing, but he does have a few notable forms. The first is his "stealth" form. Taking the appearance of a normal human leg, he is (for the most part) able to blend in with Emi's body. The only issue is that, like all of his transformations, something goes wrong. In the case of the leg, eyeballs comprise a portion of the surface. His other common forms include a eldritch abomination of flesh that can only be described as "a horrible blob" and a demonic flesh-sword that possesses arms and legs. He also oozes a considerable amount of ichor when he transforms, making constant messes. Personality: Contrary to Emi, Viscera is about as normal as a construct can be. He's rather laid back, but is willing to get serious when the time calls for it. Even though he's an eldritch horror of terrible things, he's actually a rather nice character. He's (compared to Emi) decently smart and willing to help others as best he can. He's polite and has a distaste for violence, causing him to hold back more often than not. Still, when he feels like there's no other option, he's willing to become violent. Despite his friendly demeanor and wisdom beyond his age (and species), he has a deep self-hatred over what he looks like since he is unable to control the exact specifics. Core: Normalcy Background: Formed by a young Emi's hand, Viscera's was designed to be a perfect mix of skeletal frames. After all, what shortcomings of each frame could surely be fixed by filling in those gaps with other frames? Well, most of those frames crumbled, disconnected, and cracked off since randomly attaching frames against the direct suggestion of proper design choice wasn't exactly the best idea. What was left was an aberrant core of conduit that formed the core of what Viscera was. Then Viscera woke up. Flesh formed and created what was his body. It was a discordant mess of organs, muscle, bone, and other body parts. Besides an odd self-disgust of what we looked like, Viscera felt a bit okay about the entire deal. The one-armed girl that gave him life was a nice enough person, he thought. He might as well from a contract with her and go with her as thanks for creating him. Though a towel to clean up the ichor everywhere would have been nice. Abilities: Viscera can freely change his form to suit what the situation desires. Sword used by another construct? Perfectly fine. Combat blob that acts as the vanguard? That's his most optimal combat style. 45 foot tall monstrosity that crushes building and suplexes giant lizards? Extremely exhausting and horrific, but possible. Gun that shoots organ and bone at things? Weird, but he can do that. Besides his versatility, Viscera is a bit of a one trick pony. All of his attacks are varying degrees of punching things. The only other technique he possesses is getting things to trip on his ichorous secretions.
