Ricky is one of the kindest people around. Always willing to lend a hand and offer a tasty treat he's known as of the Dads of the class. He tends to get lost in his head, especially when he's stressed out over things. He has a brilliant mind capable of coming up with totally insane but amazing food ideas. One of his major draws is that he's been on the spectrum since he was diagnosed at age 12. He tends to not notice the more subtler nuances in people which often leads to him being thought of as slow. He wants to see everyone succeed in life. When he stims it's usually excessive rubbing of his hands when he's overwhelmed. [/indent]

Ricky has always been the curious type. Growing up in a military family he moved a lot in his childhood. He really bonded with his Dad, who he's named after. When he lost him to cancer he was extremely depressed for a time. It was around this time when he was diagnosed with Asperger's and the revelation rocked him. It was around this time that his other father was being deployed to Japan and so he studied there while his father was stationed there.

It was there his dad met his stepfather, Jonathan Nakamura, another Master Sergeant stationed at the base. Jonathan and Ricky bonded well, helping him push through his disability and Jonathan and Carter were married after they returned to the States. Ricky graduated high school and moved on to Woodford. He's involved in a lot of activities, specifically anything that has to do with cooking and culinary skills.
