Lauren took a moment and looked towards Mahendra and Nora as well when they also pointed out that the are experiencing the same hazy blurry vision which was a good thing. She did have a point they could have continued further down into the tunnel by now as well. 

Then Lauren heard a thud and turned around and looked directly at the guy who was there and raised an eyebrow slightly, wondering if he was spying on them or not. But it looked like he would have ended up falling down into the hole if he had a little bit more speed, she looked over towards the Lord Major when he answered his question. It was true that the guy didn't have a right to know why they were down here in the first place.
