[b]APPEARANCE[/b]
Niora is a slender girl towering barely at 5'7" herself, and rising up to 5'10" with the plant on her back. Her skin is a leaf green colour, with faint yellowish veins shining through with the occasional light freckle here and there.
From the base of her back grows a living carnivorous plant Niora calls Zahra. The plant shares vital veins and a nervous system with Niora, so it is essentially an unremovable part of her body even though it seems to have a mind of its own. In sunlight both Zahra and Niora's skin seems to become just a bit translucent like a plant's would. The naturally red-haired woman struggles with bad posture because of the uneven weight distribution between her and Zahra, the carnivorous plant.
Niora has light scars on her body, the most noticable ones being the one on her left cheek among the freckles and the horizontal, long scars around her neck.
Niora hates shirts that have sleeves. She almost always wears jeans. Most of her clothes have been modified from the back to give room for Zahra.
From Zahra's base sprouts additional two leaves that curve into long vines the plant is able to move like arms.

[b]PERSONALITY[/b]
Niora is often characterized by her determination. She is someone who gets stuff done and likes being in control, perhaps because most of the time her life has that uncontrollable unpredictability to it (thanks to Zahra). She is very work oriented and uses stress as a driving force to push herself out of her own comfort zone.
The more negative trait of Niora is her tendency to close herself away from the world. She doesn't hate social situations by any means, but as an introvert she does enjoy peace and quiet and often gets forgotten there if not pulled out. Niora's hermit tendencies easily make her spiral into depression, so it is a lifesaver to have someone to pull her out of her shell and into the real world. She doesn't have many friends, but that's much less by choice and more because of Zahra's unpredictability that can be a curse to live with. The two - despite inhabiting the same body and mind - seem to follow different instincts and don't get along because of that. Zahra doesn't always listen to Niora, making it very difficult to maintain social relationships as no one wants a friend or a partner whose back will randomly attack you.
Niora seems to be constantly tired from working all day and simultaneously managing the rebellious Zahra. In company, however, the woman proves to have a good humour and a quick wit. While being a tad touch starved, there is nothing she loves more than being able to simply hug or touch someone.

[b]SMALL BIO [/b]
Niora is a weird creature, considering she is kind of a plant but also a human with human needs such as eating and sleeping. This is because she was the child between a pure plant monster and a human male. This doesn't make her all that special, only tragic, seeing as her mother passed away giving birth to Niora, her biology not meant to withstand the labour.
Niora grew up with her father in Foxbridge where he had moved to stay with Niora's mother before she passed away. As a toddler, Niora's father attempted to pry the monstrosity that Zahra was out of Niora, but the small plant responded to Niora's pain by attacking with its vines and flailing around. After this instance Niora's father left Zahra and Niora alone, understandably a little scared of his daughter and the plant growing from the base of her spine. Still devastated from the loss of her wife, Niora's father became distant and immersed himself in his work, forcing Niora to learn to take care of herself from a young age.
As soon as the girl became of age, she moved away from home and her distant father and began pursuing her own life. Now Niora's goal is to manage from day to day - she seems to live without a true goal.

[b]TRIVIA[/b]
- Niora lives in a shared apartment as roommates with [@QueenNugget]'s character.
- The scars on Niora's neck came from when she was a child and got attacked by Zahra who attempted to strangle the girl with its vines.
- Zahra has shared organs with Niora, so it is enough for only one of them to eat to gain energy. Fortunately Niora can also gain some energy from sunlight so she doesn't have to eat all the time to sustain the extra appendage. On cloudy days Niora can be seen especially tired because she doesn't get enough energy to sustain them both.
- Niora also needs water and showers a lot - a bad patch of drought can begin to burn her skin and Zahra into a dead, brown crisp.
- Despite being part plant, Niora eats vegetables. She tried to go vegan once, but it didn't exactly work out with Zahra eating meat/insects only.
- Niora suffers from being touch starved because Zahra usually keeps people at bay.
- Niora's favourite food is strawberries and whipped cream.
- Niora has had difficulties getting and maintaining jobs in the past because of Zahra. Her current position seems to be working out nicely so far, though.
